As time passed, Diana began to make more appearances on the battle field. The world finally knew that Wonder Woman was back and working again. Diana felt a rush every time she would go out to fight, she liked it. She liked it even more when she had Steve by her side as well.
The two still had not revealed their feelings for each other, but they both knew that there was something between them. Whenever asked about Steve, Diana would just ignore it or shrug it off by saying that they were just friends, but everyone knew there was a connection. It was little things that made them notice that they liked each other.
Diana didn't attend one of the missions and was sitting next to Colonel Philips, watching a film. She saw all the men she worked with and smiled, seeing how well they all worked together. Steve and Bucky were peering over a map that was on top of a car. The camera then panned over to something that Steve was holding.
It was a compass. But she saw a picture of herself in it. The warrior felt a rush of excitement and butterflies in her stomach as she never realized he had ever done this until now. She felt a little embarrassed as Colonel Philips peered over to her. Diana looked over at him and smiled a little before looking back onto the screen.

"Remember when I made you ride the Cyclone at Coney Island?" Bucky asked Steve.
"Yeah, and I threw up?" Steve replied, recalling the memory.
"This isn't payback, is it?"
"Now why would I do that?"
"We were right. Doctor Zola is on the train. HYDRA dispatcher gave him permission to open up the throttle. Where ever he's going, they must need him bad." One of the soldiers said to the trio. Steve put on his helmet, ready to go.
"Let's get going because they're moving like the devil." Another man said with binoculars in his hand.
"We only got about a ten second window, you miss that window... we're bugs on a windshield." Diana stated looking out in the distance.
Diana was still not ready to use her ability to fly. She practiced a little at the headquarters, but it was still rocky. She didn't feel like it was safe to do it now, unless she practiced enough and had that ability down.
"Mind the gap."
"Better get moving, bugs!" Another man shouted as Steve was getting prepared to go down the zipline.
