Mia's POV

I entered the school gates with Malachi next to me going on about some soccer match that was on last night and I remembered that today was the first day of football training for Jamie.
I made my way to my locker to get my English Literature book, I was eager to read the fourth Act of Romeo And Juliet even though the rest of my class were still on the second act. I forgot to put it in my bag the day before but you couldn't blame me, I was in a haze after I had spoken to Jamie.
He was all I could think about, he was everywhere.I could feel him, he became everything around me.Even when I wasn't thinking about him I was thinking about him.
"Khalifa? Hello", Malachi snapped his fingers in front of my face.
"I'm here", I shook my head and slipped the book into my bag.

Malachi and I grew up together, our mother's were best friends since they were in elementary school and somehow we ended up becoming inseparable. Anywhere Malachi was I would be and vice versa till we were fourteen, then naturally we moved along and found other friends and priorities. We always caught up though and made time for each other, the pro was that he lived right next door to me so I knew if he woke up every day.

"I bet you heard no part of what I just said", he clicked his tongue at me.
"I heard everything though, because you talk so loud", said a voice and I turned to see Sarah smiling as she approached us.
She hugged me and Malachi warmly.
"Sarah", Marcus smiled which made me realise that I didn't know they knew each other.
"You owe me some money don't you? Liverpool won! ", she exclaimed.
"-and that's my cue", Malachi laughed as he ran away from us.
" You're a Liverpool supporter? ", I asked.
" Yes, the best team obviously ", Sarah shrugged.
" You've got jokes", I laughed.
"I smell a United supporter", she sniffed the atmosphere.
" Damn right. "
"Ew. Oh hey how are you? You haven't spoken to me since that day", Sarah asked.
" I'm okay, thank you so much for listening to me, I really needed that you know", I tried to explain to her.
She nodded and smiled.
"Don't thank me Mia, I'm always here for you",
" Why? "
"-because I know you would do the same for me. "
Hearing her say that made me realise that there was still good people in this world.
"Hey Sarah? ",
" Yes? "
"What are you doing after school today? ", I asked thinking.
"I don't even know, why? "
"I want to show you something. "
