After school, Blare went to the same spot where Damien told him to be at. As He waited, he started to think, 'old tale? But what does it have to do with me? Could it be the cause of so much attention im in? Is it even real?-' "Hey!" Blare was shocked by Damien poking his head. "Ow- oh hey, Damien was it?" Blare asked "yeah, were ya'll daydreaming or something? Cause I was calling ya' but cha'll didn't hear me i guess" Something about Damien's accent was different from his own, but Blare ignored it and went with it,
"no, i was just thinking about all this," Blare replyed

"Well if i tell ya' tha' Old tale, maybe it might clear some things up for ya' questions" He said as he sighed and sat next to Blare

"The Old Tale is a nickname for 'The Night Haunting' it all started years ago, when I was just 5 years old"

Blare sat up, as he listened with all ears.

"There was this family, the Cruz's, they lived in that same house ya' lived, they also had a son, Diego Cruz, he went to the school in the other side of this town, since there had grades from preschool to 6th grade, he was in 5th grade, but a great friend to all. Anyways, weeks past, and hes been a helpful person in the school, always help cleaning, making a friend out of everyone, but then, he disappeared...it was a cold night when he did, his parents said he acted weird, saying that the girl in the woods was "trapped". So they went to investigate, but nothing was there, people in the town search days and nights to look for Diego. He was no where to be found. It kept happening to every family who had kids and moved here. Thats why tha' kids in tha' school is talking about ya' they think your next"

Blare was surprised, "so if I dont make any interaction with the 'girl' then I wont be taken?"

"Exactly, I think, I ain't sure..." Damien said.

Drip...Drop...Drip...

Little drops of rain startes to pour,
"Ay, why don't ya come to my house, ill give ya some things tha' might help prevent her from coming," Damien got up and headed to the bike rake. Blare also got up and put his hood on. 'I'll inform mom and dad where im at,' He thought as he took out his phone and texted them, 'Alright, be safe, and go back home before 7' a text from his mother sent. "Ay! ya'll coming or what?" Damien yelled out, looking back at Blare. "Yup!" He said as he quickly followed up to Damien

Riding around the naborhoods, Blare tried to memorize it, since hes good at remembering. Damien started to slow down a bit. Blare guess they where getting close. Stopping fully, Damien got off his bike, "Here we are, just put ya'll bike by tha gate, no one here would steal it, trust me" Damien said as he quickly rolled his bike the the old rusty gates, Blare followed and did the same. This house was a bit different from the others, it was smaller than the others, looking the same though, old and rusty. It didnt look to bad. Damien had a bit struggle to open the door, but he managed. "MOM!! IM HOME!! AND IMA HANG WITH THE NEW KID!!" Damien yelled out in the house. "OK!! JUST TAKE Y'ALL SHOES OFF BEFORE Y'ALL COME IN!! AND DONT GO IN THA BASEMENT!! IMA BE THERE!!" A womes voice yelled out. Damien turn to Blare "aight, lets go in," he said as he went in and took off his shoes, 'maybe hes like his mother...' Blare thought, as he also followed and took his shoes off as well.

Inside the house smelled like cigarettes and smoke, as there was also glasses of half emptied wine and take out foods, a bit of a mess, with crums and soda stains on the floor, the curtains where closed so not much sunlight could go though, and it was a bit more darker cause of the dark coulds of rain. Damien started cleaning some stuff up. "Sorry it a mess, we forgot to clean tha other day" Damein said "Its fine," Blare responded "Put your bookbag on tha couch, then head on upstairs, go to tha room in tha end of tha hall, ill catch up with ya in a moment," Damien said as he still cleaned a bit, "Alright," Blare said, as he gentaly puts his bookbag on the couch, and headed up the stairs. Upstairs was more cleaner, on his way to the room he was sent to go to, Blare encountered an old picture, it had two young kids, one Blare assumed that one was Damien, since they did have the same rosy cheeks and dark golden eyes like now, but the other kid...he looked a year or two older, he had black hair, skin color light brown, his eyes were also dark brown, he was also skinny and tall, his hair was messy, but it was an girl attract messy, Blare woundered who he was, but he didn't want to go into someone elses business, so Blare ignored it and continued on his way to the room

Blare looked out the window before entering the room, outside seemed to rain less and the sun begin to shine a little again. Blare sighed for the fact that it might rain agian, and that he'd need to ride his bike home in it. Blare turned to the door, and slowly opened it, his room was almost emptied! Only a bed, a few cabnits, a large lamp, a closet, and a broaded up window. Blare was confused at first, 'is it because of money? Animals? The ghost?' He thought for a moment and looked at his phone, 4:30, its been and hour, and it seemed like 5 hours. Blare sighed and looked at the boared window....it wasnt properly boared, it also seems like it was made from a kid, since some sunlight came in from it. Blare woundered but then ignored.
