Threw out the past two months, Maxx and Cody were together and happy as ever. Maxx forgot all about the Y/N incident and focused on Cody, someone he could trust.. but all Cody could think about was what he did.

'I'm so fucking selfish.. I wanna be with him thought.. he makes me happy.. but I wanna respect his happiness.. I'm gonna tell him! But how?' Cody thought.

As Maxx came down the stairs Cody built up some courage, "Hey Maxx.. can we talk?" He asked.

Maxx looked up from his phone, a soft smile on his face, "Yeah?" He went over to Cody, "Spit it out!" He seemed in a very happy mood, Cody didn't wanna break that but..

"It's uh.. it's about Y/N.." he said looking down playing with the hem of his shirt, "She didn't really cheat.."

Maxx's eyes went wide, he set his phone down and looked right into Cody's eyes, "What? What do you mean babe?" His voice had confusion in it with a hint of anger.

"Me and Katie.. w-we.. made it look like Y/N was cheating on you with Zach, but she's wasn't.. she wasn't at all.. and it was all my idea.. I'm so sorry.." he mumbled.. tears formed and dropped down his pale cheeks.

"Are you kidding me? Cody I trusted you how could you use my emotions like that?" He said his voice raising a bit.

Cody had no answer to that, he had said what he had done and now he knew that Maxx could be happy again...

Right?
