Jema's POV

It's been a crazy month. So difficult to digest. Mafe, Cy and Celine in one accident. Cy on his recovery and Celine still on a coma. Deanna and Tots are back. Questions left without an answer. Wounds left unheal. Pain and anger still there.

Di ko na alam anong gagawin ko, di ko alam anong sasabihin ko. Ang gulo gulo ng utak at buhay ko.

Pero isa lang ang hinihiling ko sa ngayon, ang magising na si Celine. Ang sakit sakit parin makita na ganyan ang kalagayan niya. Sabi ng mga doctor niya she's doing good. Asan ang she's doing good eh hanggang ngayon tulog parin siya.

I miss her so much. I miss her hugs and kisses. Mga corny niyang jokes at banat. I miss everything about her.

Please gising na babe. Miss na miss na kita babe. I said sabay ng pagpahid sa mga luha walang tigil sa pagdaloy, mga luhang di maubos-ubos. Nasa chapel kasi ako ngayon. Praying for my Celine to wake up.

Thank you. I mouthed and smile at her. Si Deanna, she's always here. Always looking out for me. It feels so weird pero di ko naman mataboy-taboy. 'Coz somehow namiss ko siya, and I feel so comfortable and at ease when she's around. I know it's wrong but why does it feel so right.

Kumain ka na ba? She asked. Concern written all ove her face.

Hindi pa. After ko sa café dito na ako agad nagpunta. I answered honestly. There's no point lying kasi Deanna can tell if I'm lying or not.

She's so lucky. She blurted out of nowhere.

Why? Though confused. I asked her.

Because she has you. She answered. Sadness in her tone. Jealousy in her eyes.

I don't know what to say. So, I just keep my mouth shut. I don't wanna say anything that will make me regret later on. For a couple of minutes we stayed like that. Sitting next to each other, no conversation until she broke the silence.

Wanna grab something to eat at the cafeteria? Those words. It reminds me of what happened in the past.

Wanna grab something to eat at the cafeteria? She asked. Sabay pa cute. I admit cute at papi naman talaga siya. Pero siyempre dalagang pilipina tayo kaya pakipot muna mga mare.

Thanks. But I'm not hungry. I declined her offer kahit sa totoo lang gutom talaga ako. I skipped breakfast para lang makahabol sa first subject ko. Ang kulit kasi nitong si Wong. Laging naka buntot.

Yeah right. Not hungry ah? You're coming with me. She smiled at kinaladkad ako papunta ng cafeteria. Wala na akong choice kasi gutom talaga ako kaya nagpakaladkad nlang din ako.

Pagkarating namin ng cafeteria, pinaupo niya ako sa bakanteng upuan at siya na dw mag order ng food for us.

Thank you Wong. I told her pagkaupo niya sa harapan ko.

Bakit ka nga pala napadpad dito? I asked her. Nakakapagtaka kasi na may agila sa lunga ng mga falcons.

It's may free time kasi, kaya I decided na bisitahin ka. Sagot naman niya at sinimulan ng lumamon. Gutom lang Wong? Lakas lakas kumain pero payatot naman.
