Chapter 6: awakening

My POV

My eyes fluttered open, I was on a bed, in a medical bay of some kind, and the wound that I had with my fight with Junior seemed to have vanished

Jake: now that's what I call a patch up

Yang: and here I thought you were never going to wake up

Yang was standing there with her arms crossed, giving me a smirked look, and deep down I knew that she had missed my company. I looked right next to her, the other girls were there as well, but something was off, I don't know if I noticed it before, they had blank stairs in there eyes. I stood up, walked to them and waved my hand in front in front Lilly's face. She had emerald green eyes and a sort of light blonde hair, and she had a face of beauty, of course I didn't tell yang that

Jake: question, why are they all here

Yang: they showed up a little while ago, said they were here to see you as soon as you recovered, nothing else

I studied there faces with curiosity, the blank expressions didn't change one bit, then to my surprise, white lightning emerged from my hands, come to think of it, I had a brief moment where I saw the lightning when I touched yang, and she was also in the same trance, so if that was true then

Jake: stand back

Yang backed away, not knowing what the heck I was doing, to be honest, I didn't know what I was doing as well, but if this was the only way of getting answers, then so be it, I shot the lightning in my hands and it just spread through the three girls, the light bulbs above me were going in and out, going from super bright to almost completely dark. Finally the lightning stopped and they collapsed on the ground, I helped that Lily girl up off the ground while yang helped Olivia and Zarya

Sombra: Ay mi cabeza, where an I, who are you guys

Zarya: that's what I was about to ask

When they got to there feet we got down straight to the point, me and Yang introduced ourselves and told them what had happened from when I first woke up to right now

Zarya: dang, that really happened

Yang: yep, and it all happened because of this guy

Jake: alright alright, let's not get overly excited, it wasn't just me who defeated junior, firecracker over here got me out of some pretty sticky duties

Yang: firecracker?

Jake: yeah, it was the name over your tube in the S chambers

Lily: that's great and all, but can someone please explain to me why I can't remember a single thing

Zarya: same

Sombra: ditto

Well this was not good, even with three more people we are still no closer to solving this mystery. There has to be something we're missing, some tiny detail that we just don't get

Girl: psst, hey

We all looked at the entrance to the med bay, it was a little girl, she had short hair which looked like a combination of red and black, I mean the two colors were there at the exact same time, not like mixed together, she also had green eyes and wore glasses

Girl: follow me

We questioned it for a second, but what if she was the key to getting to the bottom of this

Jake: I say we trust her

Zarya: wait, since when do we listen to you

Yang: he has made some good calls, let's go for it

it was an unanimous decision, we all joined that girl who waiting for us outside of the med bay, then we followed her

Girl: there's a place in here where you can a as much information as you want, but you need to be level A in order to get in, and those aren't given out to Just anyone, luckily for you I'm one of those few

We stopped at a double door, the girl swiped her level A card in front of a scanner, the doors opened into a dark room

Girl: well, you gonna go in?

All five of us entered, we couldn't see a thing in front of us

Jake: sweet, oh wait I never got your (door closed before I can say another word) name

Well this was Just great, I can't see crap and I don't know what I'm doing, so I place my hands on the floor and moved them around to feel as to where I going, that's when I felt it, the side of the platform we were on, and the other side as well

Jake: found it, alright everyone hold on to me

I felt a hand on my shoulder, we then went forward, my hands still trailing on until the sides went further from each other

Jake: I think this is it

I stood up and continued to walk forward when I bumped into something, it was a chair that was for sure, I sat in it and turned it around, a keyboard lit up and as that did so did a gigantic screen that said enter password

Sombra: that's do some research shall we

???????: You did well my daughter, now they are headed right where I want them to be

Girl: thank you father, now if I may ask, what exactly do you intend for them them to do?

I pulled my hood over my head and picked up the white mask I had set down

???????: Simple really, they will do as much as they can to find out who I am, and indeed they will learn my name, but the name they will discover will not be my true name, it will be a name that will be stuck in there mind forever, that name will be......Chronos, the God of time
