Chapter 12: battle for the omniverse (supreme five vs chronos and his army)

30 seconds til project: rebirth

chronos moved through the path that his soldiers had made for him, how good it felt to have underlings that would do exactly as he told them to do, and organic brings at that, he could remember a time when he used machines as soldiers, but that was in the past, it was time for the future. he turned to his soldiers with a sinister smile on his face

chronos: soldiers, this is a most wonderful day, well for us at least, for as long as I can remember, I have always been what my universe has wanted me to be, now that universe shall feel the wrath of what it has created, a mere boy that ascended into a god.

Jake: chronos

it took chronos by suprise to see Jake and the others, dressed in their regular clothes

Chronos: you! how did you get out of confinement

Jake: that's for us to know, and for you to shut up

Chronos: soldiers, open fire and buy me as much time as you can

Jake looked at his friends, then he smiled with satisfaction

Jake: you guys ready?

sombra, yang, zarya, and lily: ready

Jake: flairre, flame on

lily: luppi, howl up

they all managed to dodge the laser blasts as Jake and lily transformed, and let's just say it was a sight to see. She had a white half-face mask, covering her forehead and stopping on the bridge of her nose, although still revealing her green optics. A white suit covers her, with a textured, armor look, with a light gray collar and white gloves. She had a belt around her waist that goes out into what looks like a tail in the back, first being gray, and finishing off with a white tip. On her belt was a disc, which appears sort of like a moon. Her headband holds up wolf-like ears, whereas her feet were supported by light gray, leather-looking boots, with indented circles, somewhat like a soccer ball.

Jake: woah

lily: what? not what you were expecting

Jake: not at all

The others rolled over to them, and Jake could see that he and lily were not the only ones who could transform, the tips of zaryas hair had turned white and she wore a blue shirt and pants with a cape.

Jake: any chance you two can do this as well

Yang: nope
Sombra: nope

Jake: fair enough, okay listen I need you guys to make me a path to chronos

Zarya: we're on it

zarya fired an arrow from a magical bow that seemed to appear whenever she wanted, she took out a few of the soldiers with Just a single shot

Zarya: go

Jake: right

Jake slashed his way through the other soldiers, deflecting their blasts with the swing and movements of his sword, even knocking them into one another with Just a single punch, finally spotting chronos with the sphere of control top of that retractable staff that Jake had taken some days before

Chronos: sphere of control, hear my voice, do as I say, rid the cosmos of those who have wronged me, who have taken what was rightfully mine. My order to you sphere of control: erase the entire omniverse

Jake ran toward chronos, who blocked Jake's sword with his own

Chronos: you're too late Jake, every world that ever was or will be is being obliterated right now, and nothing you can do can stop it

Jake: not if I take the sphere back from you

chronos: i'd like to see you try

Jake and Chronos launched into a heavy battle with swords, each swing countering the other, clashing with the other at every opportunity

Chronos: it's no use, I know every move your going to make

Jake: well then I better step it up

their strikes became so fast the regular human eye could not see it, soon Jake was overwhelming chronos, pushing him back and getting a lot of good hits

Chronos: this...is...impossible!

with one downward slash Jake knocked both chronos and the sphere to the ground

Jake: it's over (picks up the sphere of control) we've won

Chronos: Oh I wouldn't be so sure about that, take a look out the window

as soon as Jake looked out the window giant spheres vanished one by one, leaving nothing but complete darkness, just like what Jake saw earlier, then as soon as all of the worlds vanished the sphere in Jake's hand turned into sand

Jake: what did you do? WHAT DID YOU DO? (grabs Chronos by his Jacket)

chronos: is that not obvious, I used the sphere to destroy the entire omniverse, then I used the sphere to destroy the itself so that my work can not be reversed

Jake threw Chronos to the ground then looked back out the window, all those innocent lives gone

chronos: how does it feel Jake, knowing that every person you knew, every place you have ever been, they're all gone now, even your mother is dead, but who am I kidding, you couldn't save her, and you never will

Jake took his sword and plunged it strait through Chronos chest, he fell with a thud on the ground, as Chronos lay there on the ground motionless the soldiers around the others fell in an almost complete unison

Jake: Flairre, flame off

Jake was back into his normal clothes, and the sword the Jake had impaled Chronos had disapeared, but still he lay there motionless

Yang: Jake, what happen

Lily: Oh my goodness, is he...

Jake: he's dead, but he succeeded all the same, now there's nothing left that we can do

Sombra: actually I might have a solution to that

Yang: huh?

Zarya: what do you mean?

Sombra: it's very simple really, I overheard one of the soldiers talking about it

Jake: Olivia Just tell us what you mean

Sombra: what I am saying is, we are going to time travel
