Harry's pov.

Nandini ...I called once getting inside the home ..the house today seemed different and weird , even the lights are switched off , Nandini never keeps the lights off as she is afraid of darkness . Hi..something is seriously wrong I thought to myself before switching the hall lights on

Nandini...!!!! Baby we're are you , I called again but still no reply...now it seriously started worrying me

I ran upstairs , searched every room every corner of the house but Still no sign of her .. I opened the wardrobe to find her dresses and accessories still being there ..her stuffs are still here then where is she ? , is she in trouble...? These all thoughts started disturbing me , I wasted no time and I ran down the stairs to call the police station when I voice stopped me .

My eyes looked at him while still holding the phone receiver to my ear

Sir, if you are looking for mam , I think she went to her palace ..he exclaimed

Palace ? But she didn't tell me anything ..I said frowning at him

I think sir , something happened between mam and Steffy mam , she took her to your office and then I saw her coming out of the office crying and in a miserable state ...she even refused to sit in the car and walked to her palace..he said looking at me

My heart started beating fast by what he just said , Steffy came here and Nandini came to my office ..that's why Steffy excused from the meeting , to bring Nandini to the office ,...she purposely did it ...it means Nandini now knows that I killed her father and brother...i ran a hand through my hairs in frustration before yelling out at my fucked up life..

You should have informed me before bringing her to the office dammit....I screamed at the driver before shoving away the glass showpiece on the table breaking it into million little pieces

The driver flinched in fear  not even daring to look at me .

Get out before I kill you , I said and he nodded and rushed out of the door quickly ..I know it was not his fault but right now I was not at all in a condition to think what's wrong and right.

I can't let u go Nandini , your mine....I whispered before getting away and walking towards my car and driving towards her palace .

I reached the palace and quickly got out of my car and ran towards the palace but was stopped on the gate itself by the guards

Sorry!! You can't go inside...one of the guard told me

What do u mean , I want to  see my wife ...I said pushing them away and trying to get inside

No sir , please don't create a scene here ...princess told us not to allow you to enter inside the palace .

I took the bullet  gun out of my pocket and fired it up in the air and then pointing it towards the guards .

Let me inside or else I will kill you , I have nothing to loose now , I said being dead serious

Sorry sir ..they said in an equally serious tone

I was about to fire on them when one person came out of the palace , I realised it was the king's senator

It's okay let him in , princess want to meet him....he said and looked at me with anger in his eyes .

I finally put my gun back and walked inside the palace , the people who once did everything to honour me now we're looking at me with hatret , they  looked similar to  those hungry lions who want to attack their prey but was waiting for the right moment .. I know I have taken a big risk by coming here without any security but nothing came to my mind other than to see nandini ...I didn't even care about myself .

I was walked inside the courtroom by the senator and as soon as I reached here I saw Nandini sitting on her father's thrown

As soon as she saw me she raised her hands gesturing everyone to leave the room leaving the two of us alone.

Nandini...I - I was about to say but she interuppted me

How could you , after all the love that my family shovered over you , how could you be this cruel...she screamed getting up from the throne .

Nandini , I didn't want to do it , but I had no choice, I had to do that for my country ...I said looking at her

But Nandini , I swear on everything that is dear to me I love u now  and will love u till my last breath , you lit my world with happiness and your the best thing that I ever had in my life and God knows how much I suffered when I did this to you ...but I didnt have any choice ...I'm sorry please forgive me ...I don't want to loose you ..please forgive me .

You already lost me Harry ...I can never forgive u...never at all and ur right nothing is right and wrong when it comes to your motherland , it took me some time to realise it , I was too blinded by your love but now I will correct my mistake...she said looking straight in my eyes .

Go and tell your officers to be ready for a battle , if they want to rule  jodhpur they have to defeat us and walk on our dead bodies to get this throne ..she said tapping the arms of the throne .

It's not easy Nandini , don't do this to  yourself , to our love...I said with tears in my eyes...your so young and innocent , you cannot win against britishers  ...don't play with fire...I warned her softly

Time will tell Harry and   nothing is above my country , not even our love , and who can understand it better than u ...she said tears in her eyes as well

I took a deep breath closing my eyes before looking at her again

I love u Nandini , but we are bounded by our nation duties , let's see who wins this battle ...I said wiping my tears

I already lost the battle of our love , I'm not going to loose this battle for my country Nandini...I will do anything to win it...I said emphasizing every word
