Stapleton.

"What if we get in trouble?" We has just gotten off and all of the guys and myself were at my apartment, making cinnamon rolls with a little bit of a surprise for Payton.

"They won't find out that we gave it to her" I spoke.

"Let's go over the plan one more time so I can be sure" mason mumbled out, making me sigh

"We all know that we won't win anything unless the know it all is gone- so we'll make her disappear for a few minutes"

Payton.

I was running late

Cleo had pitched three fits due to me leaving her.
I hadn't had breakfast nor more than three hours of sleep.

I didn't even get to make coffee- it was a bad day.

I changed in the locker room quickly, turning and seeing one of the interns in my group.

"Morning" he smiled.

"Morning" I responded with a nod.

"I made too many cinnamon rolls this morning and I had a few extras that I gave away- would you like the last one?" He asked, holding it out to me.

I had no reason not to trust the food he gave me- he was in my group.

"Sure- Thank you" I smiled.

Him and I sat together as we waited on Irwin and I are the cinnamon roll.

After several minutes of him and I just speaking he finally introduced himself, "I'm Ryan McDaniel"

"Payton Johnson" I introduced back, shaking his hand.

Soon Irwin came in with a smile.

"Gather around interns" he spoke with a smile.

"We are going to do rounds, remember- you're all competing for surgery, hope you guys studied" He spoke before turning, making us all immediately follow.

As we turned into the first room, I felt a wave of dizziness, making me immediately place my hand on the wall, making sure no one noticed before focusing to the patient.

Ashton introduced the patient- reading symptoms along with current vitals.

"Diagnosis" Ashton declared

The boys went to flipping through their notes at a fast pace.

"Tonsillitis" I spoke- as if it was common sense, because it was.

"Great job, Doctor Johnson, boys" Irwin sent them a glare.

We went from room to room and progressively I felt more and more dizzy.

I leaned against the wall in one of the rooms, rubbing my temples for a second.

I tried to focus to Ashton reading- but I just couldn't, I was either about to throw up or pass out and I didn't want either of those.

"Diagnosis" he announced.

I had missed the entire symptoms.

"Doctor Johnson- show the boys how it's done" Irwin declared.

I didn't speak- I just closed my eyes, trying to stop the dizziness.

"Doctor Johnson" he spoke again.

"Kidney stones" Stapleton spoke.

"Very good Doctor Stapleton"

The next room I was literally holding myself up.
My eyes were heavy- I felt almost as if I was in a drugged state.

"Doctor Johnson" Irwin spoke- making me realize he asked a question.

"I-I don't know" I spoke out.

"Just because you were the best yesterday doesn't mean you're the best today- don't get cocky- there's always someone better than you." He spoke towards me, making me nod.

As Stapleton answered the question, I quickly left the room.

I went to the nurses station, leaning against the counter, taking deep breaths.

"Aren't you Irwin's intern?" A male spoke from beside me.

"Yeah" I exhaled quietly.

"Got a cold?" He spoke.

"I'm fine- just not on my game." I spoke.

"Look to me" he spoke, making me turn my head.

"You're pale- stand up straight" he spoke.

The man grabbed my hand, pulling me closer to him.

"Oh no- you're pale and clammy- there's something wrong here" he spoke, not letting my wrist go.

Just as I went to argue- I saw sudden black dots and I felt my knees completely give in.
