one month later

"What if your parents hate me?" I asked as I packed Cleo's and my own things into a suitcase.

We are leaving in two hours and I procrastinated so much that I was just now starting to pack.

"My family is going to love you" he responded from my bed, where he laid in shorts, no shirt, a lazy smile on his face.

"What if they think I spoil Cleo-" "they're not going to think anything, they're going to love you both- I promise" he spoke, sitting up and nodding to himself.

"I'm scared." I spoke firmly, hearing him laugh, standing and moving to me, grabbing my hands gently.

"You have no reason to be scared, if I love you- my family is going to love you and that's all that matters" He spoke, kissing my hands before gently pecking my lips, moving back to his spot on my bed.

I continued packing in deep thought, trying not to panic or freak myself out too much.

The two hours I had seemed to have flown by, I was soon loading Cleo into the car and making sure the apartment was locked before getting into the passenger side, seeing Ashton starting the car.

"Our first trip together" he grinned as he pulled out

"A very big trip for our first" I laughed to him, feeling him grab my thigh, squeezing lightly, making me intertwine our fingers

"And many more big trips to come"

We got to the airport, meeting up with Calum, Luke and Michael- who I still felt very strange around.

I kept my backpack on my back, carrying Cleo- who was sleeping.

It was almost midnight- I certainly didn't blame her.

"She's out cold" Luke spoke, laughing as Ashton got our tickets, turning to all of us.

"Let's go, we have twenty minutes to board"

Therefore, we started pace walking everywhere.

I had to wake Cleo up for security- immediately making her start crying.

I made Ashton go through first and then I put Cleo down- making her walk as she cried the entire time

Confused and tired.

I went through successfully, grabbing our things before moving to Ashton, seeing him bouncing Cleo- who was already drifting back to sleep.

"Want me to take her?" I questioned, adjusting my bag on my back.

"You've carried her the whole way, I'll carry her for a little while." He spoke simply.

We all walked through the airport, thankfully making it to our plane, where we all found our seats- which were thankfully close to each other.

The plane had two seats on one side, rows of four in the middle, and two seats on the other- it was huge to say the least.

It was me, Ashton, Cleo and Calum on one row, Calum sat on the end, then Ashton sat, then I put Cleo in the open seat and I sat on the open end.

I situated Cleo's seatbelt before getting her comfortable with a pillow and blanket, holding her as she shifted, trying to find a comfortable position to sleep in.

Soon we took off and everyone was quiet- a lot of people sleeping.

I looked to Ashton as he looked to me, seeing him smile, looking down to Cleo

"I wish I could fall asleep as quick as her"
