The entire flight soon turned miserable for me.

Ashton ended up falling asleep, I suddenly couldn't sleep- I wasn't keen on the thought of sleeping on a plane full of random strangers.

As soon as I got comfortable enough to sleep, which was almost around seven in the morning, Cleo woke up- full of energy.

I walked with her up and down the isle a few times before taking her into the bathroom- letting her jump around for a moment- getting some of her bottled up energy out.

Once she seemed calmer, I brought her back to our seats, seeing that Ashton was awake.

"Everything okay?" He questioned.

"Yeah" I nodded with the smallest smile, buckling Cleo back up between us, almost falling into my own seat.

I stayed up with Cleo, whispering to her as Ashton drifted back to sleep.

Her and I ended up sharing headphones to watch a movie that the plane provided, which was oddly entertaining.

Soon snacks came around, I grabbed extra for Calum and Ashton, knowing they would want it when they woke.

I ate with Cleo- noticing her mood slowly shifting, she was becoming irritable.

Too long sitting in one spot, I should've seen this coming.

She didn't want to watch a movie
She didn't want to play any games
She didn't want to talk
She just wanted off the plane- which I completely understood.

After a few minutes of whining, I carefully brought her into my lap, holding her, feeling her whine into my chest before relaxing.

I kissed her head, swaying lightly, feeling her breathing soon change, telling me that she fell asleep

I was exhausted.

My butt was hurting

I couldn't move without Cleo waking and whining immediately

I vowed to not do this again until Cleo was older.

Just as I had managed to drift asleep in a more than uncomfortable position- I felt a hand gently touch my arm, making me open my eyes.

"Let me take Cleo, I'm awake now" Ashton spoke quietly.

"You don't have to" I mumbled out.

"You haven't got any sleep, come sit in her seat and lean on me so you can get more comfortable"

I did exactly as he said.

I laid on his shoulder as he held Cleo's sleeping body.

I felt him press a gentle kiss to my head as I relaxed into him, closing my eyes.

With the comfort of Ashton being awake- it might just be easier to sleep
