Chapter 7

"So what is your favorite book?" Khleo asked, which caught me off guard, but I did not have to think about it because I already knew the answer.

"It's called 'The Tale of Despereaux' love that book. I have read it hundreds of times." Such a great book, I first read it when I was in middle school I think.

"What is it about?" He asked looking at me but then looking back at the road.

"It is about this mouse named Despereaux Tilling who isn't like other mouse's. He lives in a castle and loves to read. It is really divided in 4 different sections but the main plot is around the mouse he tried to save the princes." I told him. You wouldn't really understand it unless you read it.

"Well I read all of the Harry Potter book" he smiled.

"Never really liked reading those ones so I only watched the movies" don't know why just couldn't read them after the first book.

"What! Are you serious!? Man you missed out. But I will take that you have seen the movies."

"Well I have seen all of the Batman movies" he looked at me and smiled again. Wow if he keeps all this smiling and grinning I'm going to be forced to just kiss him myself. Where are my thoughts going?

"Let me guess you found out through social media I liked batman?"

"Honestly yes, but I also like batman. Best super hero I think." We stopped in front of this beautiful house. In LA there aren't many nice areas for homes, but Khleo sure did live in one.

He parked and he led me up the front steps and into his home. It was simple but elegant on the inside, just how I imagined my own home to be one day. Black furniture and black and white photos everywhere. Black couched and some white furniture as well.

"Your home is simple but elegant, I like the black and white contrasts. I have always imagined my home to be like this one day." I told him.

"Thank you, my mom helped." And at that he blushed, even though with his bronzed tanned skin I could tell he was blushing.

"Either way it's lovely"

"Thank you I will tell my mom, so I know you won't drink since it is a school night..." I couldn't help but laugh. "What?...oh I see yeah you can't drink young lady it is a school night. Maybe this weekend you can come back and I can have dinner for you and something with alcohol to drink?"

"We can do a movie night? I love pizza and beer, I'm an easy girl to please."

"Yes you are."

"Please come and sit down" he pointed to the couch and I sat down.

"So do you only like fictional books?" He asked and I nodded.

"Yes if you couldn't already tell from my embarrassing collection I like a lot of romance books. Also werewolf books, got to loves those."

"Well I hope you find one of those guys in those romance books that will show you love, and how to do it." He grinned mischievously and I couldn't help but laugh, hard. This was all just too embarrassing and we both ended up laughing so hard that I cried. Until Khleo fell into a fit full of coughs.

"Khleo are you ok?" I asked concerned "do you need water?"

"My inhaler...kitchen drawer...water...fridge" I understood what he was saying and went right away. I had to only look through 2 drawers until I found the inhaler and opened the fridge to pull a water bottle.

I ran back quickly and he was still having trouble breathing. I set the water bottle down and opened the inhaler and kneeled on the couch and place one hand on the back of his head and the other holding the inhaler to his mouth and I clicked it and he inhaled.
