The ravenette pouted, he was about to cry anytime. First of all, he has stage fear and when he finally has stood up on the stage, his bride hasn't arrived and to top it off everyone is looking at him.
His eyes are filled with crystal-like tears as he looked at the crowd. He might because of fear and he doesn't wanna embarrass himself more.
Soft sniffles started to come out of his bunny-like mouth. The other kids were panicking to find the bride and calling her to come but she had already told them that she can't come because she got sick.
You must be wondering what is happening. Every year, the kindergarten school keeps a fest where there are many games and activities. One is the marriage game and this ravenette boy had always been a fan of those beautiful decorations and dazzling wedding outfits. He always wanted to get married to a beautiful girl and live happily after, that is why he signed up for this marriage game.
His mother even bought him a new suit to wear on his kindergarten marriage. He was also set up with a beautiful girl to marry but she had to be sick on this very important day and here he is now, standing on the stage-like altar and trying his best to hold onto his tears.
His dreams of marriage are crushed instantly, he wants to cry so bad but he wants to be strong too.
He looked at the teachers with glassy eyes who panicked trying to find a bride for this certain ravenette.
The few cluster of students sitting on the chairs were looking at him, all were his class fellows and being embarrassed in front of him was really heartbreaking for this boy. He let a few of his tears slip out of his eyes and some sniffled back.
"Can i be the bride?" a small tone was heard from the crowd and a mini hand raised up. Everybody snapped their heads towards the source, the ravenette was the first one to do so.
There stood a cute boy, hand meekly raised up and a pink blush over his face.
The ravenette was hella confused, how can a boy be a bride? Though he would admit that the boy was cute yet he didn't think people are supposed to marry boys.
A teacher reached upto this ravenette who had stopped crying and was cutely looking at the boy shyly standing in the crowd.
"Jeongguk, are you okay if he becomes your bride?" the teacher asked him and he looked at her.
"But teacher, he's a boy" the said boy tilted his head in confusion and looked at his teacher.
"So what happened? Boys can also marry boys" she smiled at him and he was still in stupor.
"How do they marry?" he asked in a cute tone
"Like girls marry boys, boys marry boys. If you're okay to marry him then we can get your marriage done" she ruffled the boys hair who was still thinking about
"Okay!" he exclaimed, he's so excited, he finally has a bride, even though not the one he imagined it to be.
But more beautiful.
The small boy stepped away from the crowd and shyly walked towards the stage with small steps then climbed the stairs and stood in front of jeongguk.
"You want to be bride?" jeongguk asked and the brunet curtly nodded.
"Yes, i love being bride!" the brunet exclaimed
"You've been bride before?"
"Yes! One time!" the brunet showed a boxy smile and jeongguk reached his hands out to pinch he's cheeks
"You're cute but if you be my bride you can't marry someone else" jungkook said and held the other's clammy hands
"Yes! I'll be your bride forever!" the other smiled once again making jeongguk smile too.
"What's your name?"
"Taehyung!"
"So taehyung you're my bride from now on!"

"Kim Taehyung, do you take jeon jeongguk as your lawfully wedded husband?"
"Yes" the other smiled while looking at his soon to be husband with a smile and few tears while holding his hands. The other also gave him a heart warming smile
"Do you, jeon jeongguk take kim taehyung as lawfully wedded husband"
"I do" jeongguk smiled
"Congratulations, you may kiss your husband"
And it didn't take jeongguk any less to grab the other's waist and pull him in a kiss as they both smiled in it.
"See, i kept your promise" taehyung smiled as detached from jeongguk.
"You did, my bride" jeongguk connected their foreheads together.
"You were beautiful back then and now too" jungkook caressed his cheek as taehyung smiled
"I was so glad that my bride didn't come that day otherwise i wouldn't have met you" jeongguk kissed his cheek.
"Remember how that day you were so confused that day about a boy marrying a boy" taehyung chuckled sweetly and it brought a smile over jeongguk's lips.
"But i'm glad today. You've been my bride since that day till now" both smiled
"I loved you back then, i love you now"
