"sino kaya si green tea ahjusshi?" yuna curiously asked as she turned the tv off. 

"ewan ko, his voice is eerily familiar though," sagot naman ni chaeryeong. i rolled my eyes.

"mga gaga," sawat ko sa kanila. "nasa entertainment industry tayo, we listen to singers perform all the time." tinawanan lang ng ibang members namin yung dalawa, at sumimangot naman sila. i just chuckled. 

"hindi ba may practice ka pa, eonni?" masungit na sabi ni yuna. aba, 'tong batang 'to. 

"sa sment~" tuloy naman ni ryujin sa sinabi ng maknae. inirapan ko lang sila.

"mga bwisit!" sagot ko at inilagay ang sapatos ko. "pinapaalis niyo na ako, ha?"

"oo, alis na!" sabi ni somi habang kumakain ng chocolate. i just sighed.

"jeon, ingat-ingatan mo 'yang diet mo--"

"ALIS NA!" sabat ng anim. mas lalo ko lang sila inirapan at masungit na lumabas ng practice room. ang babastos lang ha, alam naman nilang awkward kami ni jaehyun, pinipilit pa ng mga batang 'to. hay nako. 

pumasok ako sa sasakyan ni manager-nim na naghihintay sakin. "sa wakas, sooyeon, ang tagal mo!" 

"sorry po," paghingi ko ng paumanhin. tumango lang siya at pinapasok ako ng van, and we drove off to sment.

papalapit na kasi ang festival ng mbc, kaya lahat ng couples ng we got married, magpe-prepare ng couple performance. jaehyun and i decided to sing a ballad duet version ng we'll be a dream by we the kings ft. demi lovato, kaya medyo sad and heavy yung mood ng performance namin. we're the only wgm couple na ganoon ang performance pero pinagbigyan nalang kami ng mga producers since they married us accidentally. besides, the viewers needed a change of pace.

halos isang buwan na rin ang nakalipas simula noong inamin ko kay jaehyun ang nararamdaman ko para sa kanya at mula noong nagmove out ako mula sa condo namin at tumira mag-isa. since then, jaehyun and i were stuck in a rocky patch. mas lalo siyang naging malamig sakin, hindi na kami nagpapansinan. alam kong napansin na rin ito ng mga staff sa wgm, pero hindi sila nagsasalita dahil alam nila ang pinagdadaanan naming dalawa... well, the married part, at least. 

"hi," bati ko sa kanya pagkapasok ko ng practice room na gagamitin namin for today. ngumiti siya sakin at tumango. not a word. huminga nalang ako nang malalim at ibinaba ang mga gamit ko. 

"so, hindi na natin poproblemahin ang choreography kasi heavy duet naman siya," sabi niya sakin while showing me the stage chart. tumango ako. i'm not sure if he saw me, but i'm sure he didn't care. "i guess we could start singing then." 

tumayo siya at kumuha ng mic, kaya tumayo na rin ako. he came back with two microphones in his hand. ibinigay niya sakin ang isa.

i remember the last night we shared... it was a night full of laughter and tears. it was the night that we both reflected. it was the last night of jaehyun and alyssa.

definitely, we'll be safe and sound when the lights go out - we don't have to pretend anymore. he can go running to the arms of his girlfriend while i heal myself alone. but i'll be alright, it's not like i haven't done this before. 

and soon, it was my turn to sing.

"sooyeon, tawag ka ni sajang-nim," sabi sakin ni manager eonni. "bakit? may ginawa ka 'no?"

kinunot ko lang ang noo ko. wala naman ang alam ko ah? bakit niya ako pinapatawag? hala, nalaman kaya nila tungkol sa arrangement namin ni jaehyun? the married thing and everything? umiling ako. 

the manager escorted me to park jinyoung's office. 

"sajang-nim?" tawag ko sa kanya. gumagawa kasi siya ng track, kaya naka-headphones siya. but luckily, he turned his attention on us.

"oh, alyssa. nandito ka na pala," bati niya sakin. i bowed at him and smiled, at inakap naman niya ako. "sit down, sit down. we have to talk about something."

okay... he seems warm, so i guess it's not something bad? hindi naman ako mapapagalitan ngayon, diba?

umupo siya sa table niya at inilabas ang isang folder, tiyaka niya ito ibinigay sakin. tiningnan ko ang laman ng folder. it was a script for a new korean drama. 

"the producers specifically asked you for the leading role," he told me. oh. wow. "i guess masyado silang na-amaze sa galing mo," he chuckled. 

"hindi naman po siguro," i modestly said and looked at the script again. "what's this drama about, sir?"

"ang sabi sakin, it's about two childhood friends na may almost 'some'. everybody expected them to be together, but they never got around to it because of a lot of things that happened. basically, the grown-up lead characters, which will be played by song hye kyo and song joong ki, surprisingly, will meet at a wedding of one of their old friends. one of them is sick, not sure which, and basta parang flashback iyan, telling their tragic story or something..." he clicked his tongue. "i need you to take that role. we need everything we can take to get back on our feet, and besides, kailangan ng grupo mo ng promotion. and you're the leader, also, so that's three reasons."

"sir, pero why not yuna? siya naman ang trained actress samin," naguguluhan kong tanong.

"but you're an expereinced actress, sooyeon. i trust you can take on this role. ikaw naman ang tinanong nila, i'm just giving them what they want. you'll be starring alongside cha eunwoo."

wait, what? "sir, hindi ba yun magiging scandal? i mean, hindi ba yun magko-conflict sa wgm? i'm being shipped with jaehyun right now. magiging conflict po 'yun sa promotions."

"i know. that will be released after your we got married promotions, alyssa, kaya wala tayong problema," he smiled. "any more questions?" i just shook my head, since he's very insistent on this. "good. magsisimula ang scriptreading niyo next week, kaya may time ka pang magtrain. you're dismissed."

i left the room while reading the script along the way. marami akong lines kasi ako ang main character, eunwoo and i will take most of the time of the program, kasi yung story noong high school ng dalawang main characters yung mainly na maipapakita. 

"so, who will you be working with?" yeji asked me.

"basta ang alam ko, i'm young song hye kyo, eunwoo sunbae is young song joong ki, at hindi ko na alam ang ibang cast," sagot ko sa tanong niya.

"wala ba sa folder 'yan?" tanong niya. kumibit-balikat ako at hinanap ang cast sa folder. 

"meron," i cleared my throat. "song hye kyo as jung mi yeon, song joong ki as oh do young, jo soo yeon, aka me, as young jung mi yeon, cha eun woo as young oh do young, kim min jae as choi hyun jin, yook sung jae as lee min, kim yoo jung as han seung yeon, blackpink rosé as yoon yeo reum."

sabay kaming nagkatinginan ni yeji, at sabay rin kaming nagsalita.

"blackpink rosé?"
