~Melina's POV~

I knocked on Ivy's door and within 2 seconds it swung open revealing a not so happy ivy

"Look I don't know how to explain so just ask what you wanna know and I'll answer" I said as I walked in and headed up to her room

Ivy: "how long?" She asked as she followed behind me

"How long what?" I asked as I walked into her room and laid across the bed

Ivy: "how long have you and lamelo been together?"

"We're not dating"

Ivy: "okay so how long have you guys been friends?"

"All my life, literally."

Ivy: "huh?"

"We're were born on the same day just hours apart and our mothers are best friends"

Ivy: "so you grew up with him?"

"Yup. He's my best friend"

Ivy: "so what am I? A roach?!"

"No you're my female best friend"

Ivy: "why didn't you tell me?"

"To be fair, nobody besides our family knew until I accidentally posted that picture"

Ivy: "I thought I was like family to you"

"You are But I meant actually family, like related related"

Ivy: "why'd you keep it a secret?"

"I dont like the access attention and I wanted people to like me for me NOT because they wanted to be close to melo"

Ivy: "I wouldn't have treated you any different"

"Yes you would've. Your head over heels for Quan and he's friends with melo; not to mention you also liked melo at some point"

Ivy: "you right.... I guess I understand."

I nodded

Ivy: "so do you hang out with him a lot?"

"Yup Everyday"

Ivy: "so he comes over and stuff like that?"

I nodded

Ivy: "do you ever share the stuff we talk about with him"

"No. Whatever we talk about stays between us" I lied

Ivy: "so he doesn't know that  I liked him or that I currently like Quan?"

"Nope" I lied again

Ivy: "oh..okay"

"Anymore questions?"

Ivy: "y'all ever dated?"

I was about to answer but there was a knock at the door and ivy got up to answer it

I heard laughter and footsteps so whoever it was; ivy was bringing them upstairs.

Lucas: "sup lil momma"

"Lucas!" I semi yelled as I got up and hugged him

Lucas: "I heard there's gossip goin on and I'm here to be nosey then take y'all to the party"

Ivy: "gossip time is over but I'll give you the rundown on the way to the party"

"I'm not dressed for a party"

Ivy: "unlike bestie number 2 bestie number 1 has you covered" she said as she walked over to her closet and pulled out a neon green dress

I laughed because she still didn't understand that SHE was bestie number 2
