                 ~Melo's POV~

Mel: "ugh you look so good!" She said as I walked out of the locker room in my New Jersey

"I'm not gonna lie...I kinda dig this" I said as I doin around

Mel: "good now go do your thing" she smiled as she shooed me away

"I'm goin, I'm goin" I said as I walked backwards towards the court

All the guys were pretty cool AND the coach played on my level

They were a million times better than team in Lithuania

And I was glad that Mel was here to watch me in my zone

I mean she's seen me play before but that was way back when nobody knew we were even friends

Practice went by really fast which is exactly how I like my practices to go

I went to the locker room and changed then headed back out to get Mel so we could leave but she wasn't there

I looked around and seen her talking to one of my team mates named Corey so I walked over

Mel: "babe tell him that I could take his ankles" she said as she turned around to me

"She could" I said to him with laughter

Corey: "negative" he laughed

Mel rolled her eyes

Mel: "wanna bet?"

Oh lord he done got her started

Corey: "it's a bet. If I win I want those shoes you wearing"

Mel: "you can't even fit my shoes"

Corey: "But my momma can"

Mel: "Fine But If I win I want that chain AND yo watch"

Corey: "since we betting high I'm not taking it easy on you" He nodded

Mel: "never asked you to. Dip hand me the ball"

I handed her the ball and sat in the bleachers

Watching this nigga lose was finna be entertaining

I watched as Mel dribbled the the ball and Corey tried to guard her

She went left then made a quick right causing him to fall instantly

Mel: " and I win"

Corey: "damn shawty you ball like a nigga!"

Mel: "sure do; my watch and chains please" she said as she shot a three

Corey watched in awe as he unhooked his watch and chains

Corey: "who taught you how to hoop like that?" He asked as he handed his things

Mel: "I was just joking; keep ya stuff" she laughed

Corey: "you sure?"

Mel nodded and walked toward me

Corey: "you never answered my question" he said as he jogged over to Mel

Mel: "what was it again?"

Corey: "who taught you how to hoop?"

Mel: " the OG ankle bully" she said as she pointed at me

Corey: "good looks!" He said to me before leaving

"I never taught you how to shoot a 3" I said as we walked toward the exit

Mel: "I just watched what you were doin and copied it" she laughed

I smiled as we walked to my car

Once we got back to the house I was dumb tired but I stayed up to eat dinner with Mel

"Did you take any pictures of me in my jersey?"

Mel: "of course!"

"Can you send em to me?" I laughed

Mel nodded and sent me the pictures

I posted the best on to my insta

"When the hell did you take this?!" I asked as I bust out laughing

Mel: "before we got on the plane" she laughed

Mel: "lets go take a shower and go to bed....we have an big day ahead of us tomorrow"
