          ~Melo's POV~

Eli: "I can't believe you forgot" he said to me as we headed toward our lunch table

"Look it's no big deal, I'll just cancel my plans with Mel"

Everybody rolled their eyes as we sat down

I watched as Mel walked toward my table with ivy and Lucas

Eli: "What y'all finna jump us or something?!"

Mel gave him a disgusted look

Ivy: "theres 3 Of us and 6 of y'all so how the fuc-"

Mel slammed her hand over Ivy's mouth

Mel: "we gotta cancel our plans today because I accidentally forgot that I agreed to tag along on triple date" she said plainly

I could read it all in her face that she didn't wanna go

"That's cool I was gonna tell you the same thing"

Mel: "you're goin on a triple date?"

"No I agreed to go to the movies with these guys"

Mel: "have twice as much fun for me cause I won't be having any" she said as she and her friends turned around to walk away

"Wait! Mel?!"

Mel: "yessir?!" She asked as she turned around

"Who-"

Mel: "I'm fifth wheeling by my lonely" she replied already knowing what I was gonna ask

I nodded my head and watched as her and her friends walked away

Eli: "Damn her shit fat!" He exclaimed as he eyed her backside

Everybody looked but me

Don: "you sure she single?" He asked

O: "Yup. I've never seen her with any other guys besides  Melo...except Jayden and Lucas"

Don: "imma ask her on a date"

"She's gonna say no" I said as I opened my gatorade

Eli: " are you telling him that because it's the truth or because you don't want him to ask her?"

" it's the truth. Mel doesn't do dates; she never has. She literally just said she was fifth wheeling BY HERSELF"

Kaliah: "maybe she just told you that so you wouldn't be jealous"

I rolled my eyes.

They were really starting to bug the fuck out of me

Don: "well there's a first time for everything. What's her number?"

" if you text or even call her she's going to block you straight away" I said as I opened my bag of hot Cheetos

Quan: "see now I feel like you lying" he laughed

"Fine, I'm just tryna save your his ass from public embarrassment but Since you don't wanna listen..her number is 267-659-9751; dial at yo own damn risk"

I watched as don dialed the number and hit the call button

I shook my head

Kaliah: "that's probably a fake num-"

"Hello?" I heard Mel say from the phone

Quan: "put it on speaker" he whispered
