~Melina's POV~

Friday morning...

"Dip its time to get up" I said as i nudged him

He didn't even budge

"Melo" I whispered

Melo: "whatttt Mel?" He complained as he stretched and turned to the other side

"We have school today"

Melo: "can't we skip today and just lay here?" He asked as I pulled the covers off him

"No we have things to do today"

I watched as he groaned and dragged himself out of my bed

Melo: "I'm fucking sleepy bro!" He yelled

"I told you we should've went to bed but you wanted to stay up and eat del taco" I laughed

Melo: "I regret nothing" he laughed as he walked into the bathroom

"Aren't you forgetting something?" I laughed

Melo: "oh shit my clothes!" He said as he facepalmed himself

I couldn't help but laugh.

Melo grabbed his clothes then grabbed my hand

"Where are you taking me?"

He pointed to the shower

I nodded and followed him into the bathroom

Melo: "is linc still here?"

"No he spent the night at Zo's because Denise did some dumb shit and Zo had an attitude" I said as I took my shirt off

Melo: "they break up every two weeks" he laughed

"Couldn't be me" I said as I stepped into the shower and turned the water on

Once we finished showering it was already 6:43 so we hurried and got dressed

Melo: "not to sound like a weirdo or anything but Denise gives me gold digger vibes now"

"She wasn't always like this though"

Melo: "yeah before the baby; now everything is child support and dollar signs"

"I think it's because they don't really have any solid foundation to build on"

Melo: "yeah and Zo moving all over doesn't really help"

I nodded my head in agreement and put in my shoes as Melo grabbed my car keys

"She knew what she signed up for when she started dating him though. she knew he was tryna make it big in the NBA and she KNEW that meant possibly moving from time to time if he ever got traded"

Melo: "I kinda understand her though; they have kid and she doesn't want zoey all over the place"

"I understand that too but I wouldn't care I'd rather have my child around her father no matter where I have to go with him and it's not as if Denise has an actual job anyway"

Melo: "is that what you think of me too?"

"Yes! I believe you're gonna make it pro and at some point you're gonna have to leave; it's not a bad thing PLU if we were in Zo's situation I'd go wherever you got traded to. I'd rather tag along so you could see our child grow up instead of having you miss out because I was being stubborn and wouldn't move"

Melo: "so you'd you move all over the globe with me?"

"If I had nothing else goin on and we had a child; Yes" I said as I stood up and grabbed my phone and bookbag
