~Melo's POV~
Lavar: "thanks for telling me son; I'll watch the game tomorrow night and if he doesn't put you in I'll talk to him about it. If he doesn't listen the first time I say something about it then we're taking ourselves elsewhere"
I nodded and went to my hotel room to text Mel; I ended up facetiming her instead because I wanted to see her face
|FACETIME CALL|
Mel: "so what'd he say?"
"He says he gonna watch tomorrow nights game and see if I'm really gettin any play time, if not he's gonna talk to him and if it happens again we're leaving"
Mel: "is it bad that I hope it happens again?"
"No cause I do too" I said
We both bust out laughing
Mel: "well at least your getting this experience"
"Yeah but I'd rather be home playing fortnite"
Mel: "did you ever get the GED?" She asked as she yawned
"No...I wanna go back to school. I just don't know how to tell my dad"
Mel: "I think he'll be fine with it. I honestly don't think he'd be upset"
"Hopefully not but you know how he is"
Mel: "Yeah I know" she yawned again
"Babygirl go ahead and get some sleep; I'll call you in the morning"
Mel: "can you just stay on until I fall asleep?"
"Anything for you" I smiled as I put the phone on the nightstand so I could see her face
Mel: "I really hope you come back soon. I'm tired of cuddling with ivy; her elbows always poke me in my side cause she doesn't cuddle right" she laughed
"I hope I come back soon too; I just wanna hug bro" I laughed
Mel: "good night Melo" she said before closing her eyes
"Good night Mel" I said as I watched her drift off to sleep
Once I knew she was asleep I hung up and plugged my phone into the charger
|FACETIME ENDED|
It was still daylight here and I was bored as fuck so I went to sleep any damn way
That didn't last long because Gelo came banging on my door
"What nigga?! damn!" I yelled as I got up and answered the door
As soon as I opened the door Gelo bust into my room
"What the hell is your problem dummy!?"
Gelo: "jaden's flying out here tomorrow for our game"
"So?"
Gelo's face went blank
Gelo: "SO I get to see my girl tomorrow"
"And I'm supposed to care because?"
Gelo shrugged and walked out
I swear sometime I hate that guy
