"Geez ma I can't breathe" I said with laughter as my mom hugged me

Me and Mel had just finished telling her the news plus she was extremely excited to see us

She looked perfectly fine to me so I don't know what gelo was talking about

Tina: "so..excited!" She said as she hugged Mel

"Remember nobody knows besides you and kaliah"

She nodded her head and pretended to zip her lips

Tina: "boy or girl?" She asked as she smiled

"Girl"

Mel: "I think it's a boy"

"But I KNOW it's a girl" I smirked

Mel: "what do you think?" She asked my mom

Tina: "girl"

"Ha!"

Mel: "You're just agreeing with him cause he's you're favorite kid" she laughed

Tina: "maybe" she laughed

Mel: "how do you think lavars gonna take it?"

Tina: "not so uh...good" she said as she shook her head

"He'll get over it" I said as I laid down in bed next to her

When it came to my mom or Mel I was the biggest baby; They'll forever hold the biggest place in my heart.

Mel: "that reminds me; we need to hide those suitcases"

Tina: "whats..in them?"

"Baby stuff that we bought in Australia"

Mel: "everything's pink" she said plainly

"Cause we're having a girl" I smiled causing her to roll her eyes

Mel: "if you say so"

"I do say so" I said with a smile

Mel: "your son is a basket case" she said to my mom

Tina: "yeah" she laughed as she kissed my forehead

Man I loved this woman

Mel: "dip can we get ice cream later?"

"Chip you're lactose intolerant"

Mel: "but I want it" she pouted causing my mom to look at me

Tina: "Ice cream..NOW" she said as she pushed me out of bed

"Ugh fine" I said as I got up

Mel: "thanks mom" she winked

My mom gave her a thumbs up as we walked out of her room

Gelo: "damn son! I didn't see you there" he said as he caught Mel from falling after bumping into her

"Damn you big quarterback built ass nigga!" I said as I looked at gelo

Gelo: "you get 3 tats and think you somebody hard ass pops" he laughed

I rolled my eyes

I was about to curse his bitch ass the fuck out but Mel started pulling on me

Mel: "babe the ice cream!" She whined

I looked at gelo with a straight face and walked past him

Zo: "sup bro" he said as he sat on the couch watching zoey

"Coolin finna go get ice cream" I said we did our handshake

Zo: "I see you taking care of the misses; hey Mel" he waved

Mel waved back then we left to go go get some ice cream

Mel: "Okay so I was thinking about baby names and I just wanna know if we're gonna continue the whole L thing" she said as we got in my car

"Nah I think the name should match ours" I replied while starting the car

Mel: "what would it even start with?"

"M" I said as I backed out of the driveway

Mel: "Marvin, mark, Michael m-"

"I keep telling yo ass it's a girl" I laughed

Mel rilled her eyes

Mel: "Melissa, magdalyn, melody, melyn m-"

"I like melody and melyn is funny" I laughed

Mel: "it wouldn't be pronounced as MELON it'd be MA-LIN"

"It's still funny so I like it"

Mel: "I like it too" she laughed

"Is that what we're gonna go with?"

Mel: "nope. I say melody"

"Okay but whatever her first name is has to go with her middle name"

Mel: "we haven't even talked about the middle na-"

"It's gonna be love because my middle name is lafrance, Yours is Paris and Paris France is the city of love plus I love you a lot so it's only ri-"

I stopped taking when I noticed she was staring at me with this grin on her face

"What?"

Mel: "you're getting all riled up over this and it's super cute"

"Oh" I laughed

Mel: "you're gonna be a great dad"

"We can still have sex right?" I asked changing the subject

Mel: "yup. I read that I could have sex my whole pregnancy but I think we should stop at my third trimester. Why?"

"Noted" I said as I turned the car around

Mel: "wha- where are we goin?"

"To your house; I'm finna blow ya back the fuck out"

Mel: "can I have ice cream afterwards then?"

"Oh I'll buy the entire damn ice cream shop for you if you keep making me feel like this" I laughed

Mel: "I didn't even do anything" she said as she bust out laughing

I just watched her laugh from the corner of my eye

Why she gotta be so damn fine

Shit shit should be illegal

I couldn't wait to get back to her place
