(A/N) hehe this is a poem I wrote for school, at the time it had nothing to do with briar and Myles but I found out it will actually work well with the story so here it is. Also slaysrichelle on insta actually wrote these lines I just put them together to make a short poem even though I changed a few of the words, credit to her.
Poem for briar -myles
I love her but I can't show it
I want her but she can't know it
I need her but I know it will never be
If only I needed her like she needs me.
I'm sick of crying
And tired of trying
However I'm smiling
But inside I'm dying
So I fake another smile, blink away the tears
I'm supposed to be strong, have no fears
But the tears just keep rolling, so hard not to drown
I'm such a strong person, why now am I breaking down
I need to dance with the waves
And move with the sea
And just let the Rhythm
Set my soul free.
