Charlie, Danny, and Jenny headed out. They decided it will best to the check the park first. They all split up and headed to look for her.
Danny stopped and asked people if they seen her. "Have you seen an 11 year old girl about this high" he said putting his hand about the height of Mary, she has blond curly hair?"
"No Im sorry, do you need me to call the police" asked the person.
"No, she got upset and ran off" said Danny, "We will find her."
They searched for awhile and soon all ended up back together.
"I asked people, but no one has seen her" said Danny.
"I did to, got the same answer" said Charlie.
"We should probably call the police" said Jenny.
"No, not yet we need to call John" said Charlie.
Charlie called John.
"We looked all over the park, we couldn't find her, and no one has seen her" said Charlie, "We need to call the police."
"No" said John, "If we call the police, CPS will get involved and that can't happen" said John.
"Fine we will keep lookin" said Charlie hanging up.
"He said no, he doesn't want CPS to get involved" said Charlie.
"Well we may have to, she is missing, she could get kidnapped or hurt" said Jenny.
"I can't do anything about John, lets just keep looking" said Charlie.
They kept looking.
Meanwhile John and Justin were driving around town looking.
"You think she would go far?" asked Justin.
"Ya if she is that upset" said John, "Plus she has no fear about this kinda thing, I know she has thought about doing it before."
"We need to call the police" said Justin.
"We aren't calling the police!" said John angry, "If CPS gets involved she is gone."
"She is gone now" said Justin.
John didn't respond.
Just then Justin spotted her.
"There she is!" yelled Justin. He immediately pulled over and parked. John jumped out and ran towards her, Justin followed
"MARY!" he yelled.
Mary turned around and saw him and began to ran.
"Mary stop!" yelled John.
They ran after her.
"Mary!" yelled John.
People were staring as they ran.
John caught up with her and grabbed her.
She kicked and squirmed "Let me go!" she yelled.
Justin caught up with them
"Mary please!" she John.
Mary broke down in tears and became limp in John's grip. John picked her up and Mary wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Justin call the others" said John.
John and Justin walked back the truck as Justin called the others.
"Ya we found her" said Justin
"Is she ok?" asked Danny.
"Ya I think so" said Justin.
"Give me a minute" said John to Justin. Justin walked over to a bench and sat down. John put Mary down in the front seat.
"Im so sorry" said Mary.
"No you don't need to be" said John.
"Im sorry, I'm not going to let anyone take you, I promise" said John.
"I know I'm just scared" said Mary.
John looked at her with sad eyes.
"You don't have to be scared" said John, "I will not let anything else happen to you."
She reached out her arms towards him, he picked her up and hugged her.
They then headed back to the apartment.
They arrived at the same time as the others.
They all were happy Mary was ok. They headed up the stairs. When they got to the top of the stairs they saw Adam Mary's and John's dad standing there.
