Give me the ability to write again
To keep penning my heart out
And keep speaking on a piece of paper
Let me be the old me
The one that tells stories
And made worlds out of nothing
Can you tell me
How did I create magic out of words
Induced nightmares with just a sentence
And brought them back to heaven
With just a single word?
I missed how I can make
A person transported from a coffee shop
To mundus magicus in just the span of
A new page
And a few well-written dialogues
Or perhaps
Like that time when
I brought them dancing under the rain
Singing hymns to mother nature
While it's sunny outside?
Well maybe
My most favourite time of all
When I took them into a concerto
Listening to different beats
From different equipments
And let them hear the music
Just by reading?
Please
Give me the ability to write again
So that I can bring you out
And make out with your mind
Bringing you out on dinner and dates
Between the lines of my verses
