   {I recommend listening to this song when it plays in the story xox}

I sat in the house my back pressed against the wall one knee up and my other leg out straight as i read the toxic Love story of hardin and tessa.

"Dance with me"

I looked up from the book, cocking an eyebrow.

"What?"
I replied

"You heard me, lets dance"
he said firmly walking over to grab his phone

"No asher I don't dance"
I chuckled looking back down to my book.

Music began to fill the room and i soon recognised the song as 'water fountain by Alec Benjamin',

i smiled to myself  wondering if Asher had purposely put alec on because i had told him he was my favourite singer at the moment.

Soon the book was taken from my grasp, i was about to protest when i looked up asher slightly kneeled down a hand in front of me

"May i have this dance"
He asked a smile playing on his lips

"Ugh fine but just one"
I demand holding up one finger and pointing it to him

He nodded and i placed my hand in his,
he swiftly pulled me up spinning me around.

He spun me back into him smiling wide

I giggled at his giddy-ness as he danced me around twirling, dipping and anything he could think of.

"See you can dance"
He said empathising the can as i started to let loose feeling the music.

I shook my head laughing at how stupid we were being.

The song came to a stop Asher's grip tight on my waist as he held me close.

I breathed heavily my laughter dying down.

The melody of the next song began.

'I've been hearing symphonies Before all I heard was silence'

My eyes met Asher's

they were beautiful

A wonderful shade of green that could captivate anyone who looked into them.

'A rhapsody for you and me
And every melody is timeless'

My eyes wondered across his face

His lips slightly parted,

A soft rosy pink shade on them, the perfect size

it look everything in me to not lean up and plant mine upon his fantasising of the feeling

'Life was stringing me along
Then you came and you cut me loose'

I let my eyes linger there for a little longer than I should've knowing very well he was watching my every move intently.

A strand of His hair flopped on his forehead

I removed my hands from his chest brushing the strand away.

Running my finger down his cheek to his jawline tracing it ever so carefully.

'Was solo singing on my own
Now I can't find the key without you'

His breathing audibly hitched,
his grip tightening against my waist

"What are you doing to me shortcake?"
He muttered

I looked back up into his eyes questioning his words with a head tilt.

'And now your song is on repeat And I'm dancin' on to your heartbeat'

"This.
Everything"

He said pausing bringing me even closer to him

"You"
He whispered

'And when you're gone, I feel incomplete So if you want the truth'

"You're so visually beautiful"
He continued talking mindlessly

'I just wanna be part of your symphony'

"So gentle yet so fiery when you need to be"

He let out a soft chuckle to himself

'Will you hold me tight and not let go?'

"And so so hurt, tell me shortcake, tell me who hurt you?"

He asks his eyes stop studying my face and meet mine again

"Asher"
I mumbled looking away from his eyes to my shoes.

His finger gently pushed my chin so my eyes latched onto his again

"Talk to me Annie, I'm here" he says worriedly

"Always"

'Symphony'

{they're so babie 🥺}
