The pain seemed endless but I know it only lasted a few minutes. After our bodies went through the preparations for the shift our bones were starting to maneuver. When the pain subsided we heard gasps. "I've only seen this a few times. " said dad. I was confused. I looked down and saw a pitch black coat. I looked over and saw that Kara had a pearl white coat with black on the tips of her ears. Walking over to the pond I gasped. I had white on the tips of my ears. We were the wolves of legend! In the stories it said that two girls would be born on the same day, the summer solstice, in the same room that the moon goddess was born in, and are the moon goddesses children. 'This. is. AWESOME.' I heard in my head. I must've jumped back 6 feet. What was that?
