The Garden Of Eden
Adrestia

My  legs were dangling off the wall, bored out of my mind as per usual.  Nothing seemed to be dying here, I think God built it so that everything  was perfect, I guess death wasn't perfect huh? As I looked out across  the sandy, desolate landscape I started to hear a voice, God's voice.  Hearing a reply I looked down noticing an angel below me, he was being  questioned about the whereabouts of a flaming sword. He seemed rather  scared of the Almighty, a trait that seemed rather common amongst  angelkind. Why this was I would never know considering they were meant  to be like gods right-hand men and woman. I took note of the Angel's  name, Aziraphale, it rang a bell, maybe I had spoken to the Angel  before but I've conversed with many Angels and Demons alike so I  couldn't possibly remember every person I spoke with. However, I had a  feeling I'd remember this Angel, seeing as he had lost this 'flaming  sword'

"Oh dear" I hear him tut, as he realised God had gone and  that he may be in the Lord's bad books. I smirked and went into the  shadows, gliding down and metamorphasize  back into my original form in front of the man. I looked human, long  black hair cascading halfway down my back, sweeping side bangs to frame  my face. I wore a flowing black cape with the hood up, slightly menacing  if you asked me but I guessed that was the point? Adding to the scare  factor I carried my trusting scythe, every time I did something  significant an image representing the event would be carved into the  handle. If something of great significance took place that affected me  personally it would be engraved on the blade, a nice touch if I do say  so myself. I also had beautiful feathered wings that were predominately  black but went out into a grey, eventually white. I guessed this meant  that I was neither Angel nor Demon, despite some calling me the Angel of  death. God told me once I was both, although she put more demonic  qualities in me than angelic, 80% to 20%, so the nickname didn't make  much sense. "Oh dear oh dear, whatever will you do?" I tilt my head at  the Angel, making him jump "W-were you sent to kill m-me?" He stuttered  and I frown, before dropping my head to my hands and running my fingers  through my hair, taking down my hood in the process. "No! Oh for Pete's  sake! I just wanted to help you look for the sword, yaknow  make a friend? I mean God's a lazy bastard so they probably won't care  about the missing sword." I sigh, my reputation strikes again. He pauses  and looks at me before smiling, wearily sticking out his hand "Ah, I'm  Aziraphale. You are?" I take his hand and smile "Death, although you can  call me Adrestia."

Aziraphale

I  stood next to Adrestia, staring up at the giant arc, trying to  understand God's plan. "I mean really? If God's that loving, and  powerful why purge the planet this way!? Drowning is one of the scariest  ways to die according to my... clients  so why would the almighty, all  caring, lord wish to do mankind dirty?" Adrestia states, folding her  arms and looking at the poor unsuspecting humans around her. "I couldn't  agree more," said a voice from behind me. "Hello, Aziraphale!" He says  as I turn to look at the man and see an all to a familiar face.  "Crawley! No way, what happened to senor  snake?" Adrestia chuckles, hugging the red-haired demon. Have they met  before? "He was told to come up to earth to keep an eye on you, you  chaotic woman you," He said, patting her back before breaking apart the  hug and slinging an arm around her shoulder. "Oh, you two know each  other?"I said, confusion evidently on my face. Crawley begins to explain

"We were in the garden of Eden and I had just tempted Eve, Addie here was just wandering around in awe of everything"

"I was not! I was just having a wee nosey around the place"

"Uh huh, anyway so I was slithering about, watching her for a while trying to piece together who she was"

"Watching me? Excuse me what?"

"Well,  it's not every day you see someone with wings like yours and a diamond  tattoo! It was when I saw your scythe I knew you were Death. The next  thing I knew you 'accidentally' stepped on my tail causing me to hiss in  pain and you to scream like a baby"

"I thought I had hurt you,  or worse! It's not every day that a passing snake shouts 'Ah fuck' is  it? After that, he went back into looking like this and we chatted for a  wee while. And that is how I met this stupid demon known as Crawly,  yeuch could you have a more boggin' name?"

I watched the pair  bicker I noticed a shine in both their eyes I had never seen there  before, could it be that the two were in love? Could they be?

Golgotha
Crawley/Crowley

Today  was the day Christ got crucified, and much to my surprise I found my  good friend Aziraphale there, watching. "Come to smirk at the poor  bugger, have you?" I ask, standing next to him. "Smirk, me?" he scoffed,  his eyes didn't dare leave the scene in front of us. "Well, your lot  put him on there" I reply, before noticing a familiar figure standing up  at the front of the crowd, all black robes with a hood up. Classic  Addie. I hadn't seen the girl in years but she always seemed to plague  my mind. I found myself staring at her rather than Christ himself. What  was it about her that drew me to her I wasn't sure. "I'm not consulted  on policy decisions, Crawley" Aziraphale answered sounding slightly  annoyed, snapping me back into reality. "Oh, I've changed it" my eyes  flickering away from Adrestia momentarily before going back and noticing  she had disappeared. "Changed what?" He asked, "My name," I say before a  slight tapping on my shoulder interrupted me. "Oh have you now?" She  smirked, it was Adrestia, even on the day of Christ's death she still  wore the same cheeky grin I had grown fond of. "Hey, Az!" She smiled,  walking around and standing next to me now. "'Crawley' just wasn't  really doing it for me. it's a bit too... squirming-at-your-feet-ish."  Addie, stifles a laugh, gaining a glare of some people and immediately  shutting up, from what I had seen of her she didn't do well in serious  scenarios. "Well you were a snake." she whispers, "What is it now?"  Aziraphale asks, "Mephistopheles? Asmodeus?" He suggests, Adrestia  joining in "Steven, Dave, Jerry?" Aziraphale looks at her and she  shrugs, "I bet that one day those will be popular names just you wait,  besides at least they are easy to pronounce!" She whispers yelled before  gazing up at me waiting for a response.

"Crowley", Aziraphale  just hmms while Adrestia just gives me a clap, once again forgetting  where she was and receiving many shushes and cold stares off the crowd. I quietly laugh, while she gives them an apologetic smile. She was an enigma to me.
