Best Way To Ruin Winter

"Come on stupid Y/N! Answer the phone call!" Ibara said waiting for Y/N's response to the phone but still no response. Ibara sighed and took her coat. Winter is coming in Japan. Y/N has missed 7 calls from Ibara because she was still sleeping cuddling her blanket from the cold air feeling in her skin. Y/N finally woke up and get up to get cold air making her decision on taking a shower has been cancelled. Y/N looked at her phone and checked the 7 calls missed from Ibara. Y/N decided to call her back but no answer.

I'll just wash my hair with warm water Y/N took her shampoo and washed her hair. When she finish, she ate breakfast and head down with her uniform with a scarf around her neck. Little snowflakes fell down on her making her feel like skipping school and make a snowman or drink a delicious hot cocoa. As she walked on the streets, she saw Chitanda walking to school.

"Chi-Chan!" Y/N said coming towards her "How are you?"

"Ohayo Y/N! I feel really excited" Chitanda responded with a grin.

The both of them arrived school and meet up with Ibara. Y/N starts apologizing at the angry Ibara for missing all her calls and texts. The only way to make Ibara forgive her is to follow her orders till the end of the day.

"Just don't please ruin this day" Y/N whimpered.

"Okay then my first order is to buy us hot cocoa!!!" Ibara said.

Chitanda and Ibara gave their money to Y/N who was groaning of laziness.

"I'll come with you" C/F/N said with Oreki and Satoshi "These two will just stay here with Chi-Chan and Ibara"

Y/N nodded and left with C/F/N. Oreki stared at them with a blank expression but in the inside, he was jealous of him being alone with Y/N.

"Oreki, is there something bothering you? You've been acting weird lately" Satoshi asked.

Oreki just responded with a 'mhm' which means yes. Ibara and Chitanda has been also curious about what's going on.

Few minutes later, Y/N and C/F/N are back holding six cups of hot cocoa using a tray to hold all of them.

"Arigato!" Chitanda said taking one of it. Satoshi and Ibara took one also.

Y/N took one and approached Oreki "This is for you too!" She said and smiled. Oreki appreciate it and take it. C/F/N drank his cup so fast that the others haven't even tasted it.

"C/F/N, how can you handle that heat by finishing that cup fast!?" Satoshi said mesmerized. Ibara giggled, Chitanda also.

Y/N sip hers and enjoyed the sweetness of it. She closed her eyes and imagine herself in a beautiful place sipping the hot cocoa in her hands and enjoy the winter.

"Y/N! Do you wanna make a snowman?" Ibara said. Y/N squealed and gave the empty cup at the bench and followed Ibara.

"It's good thing there's no school today right Oreki-San?" Chitanda asked while sipping her hot cocoa.

Oreki gave no response, just watching Y/N and Ibara make a snowman, then the snowman fell because of Satoshi throwing a big snowball with C/F/N.

"Satoshi!!!!!!" Y/N said and get her revenge by hitting the two boys who fell off. The others played snowball fight while Chitanda and Oreki sitting and watching them.

Meanwhile, A snowball hit Oreki in the face, Oreki was about to teach that person a lesson but when he saw Y/N did it by being obvious. He smiled a little and threw her back a snowball.

"Do you like her Oreki-San?" Chitanda asked.

"Kinda" He responded. Chitanda pursed her lips and continue watching them play.

-After-

"I'm tired" Y/N said sitting the bench with Ibara. It was obvious because of Ibara can hear her heavy breath. Ibara gave her extra water bottle to her in case she was thirsty.

"Hey guys, let's watch the fireworks!" Satoshi said leading us to a place where we can watch the fireworks.

"Remember when you kept shouting that you want to be smart N/N?" C/F/N said to Y/N

"I'm already smart enough even though I kept failing Math!" Y/N said growling like a dog while C/F/N looked away innocently.

The fireworks started, All of them were amazed to see different colors like red, blue, and yellow snowflakes and others. Chitanda felt uneasy when she was watching them. She felt like she want to say something out loud to someone. C/F/N scooted next to her and whispered "Do it now". Chitanda gulped and nodded

"Hey Y/N, come with me to buy some ice cream!" C/F/N grabbed Y/N's hand and walked away.

Satoshi was in the restroom having a hard time since he ate a lot of food. Ibara was just sketching the fireworks she can see in her sketch pad.

"O-Oreki-San!" Chitanda stuttered not looking at Oreki.

"Hm?" Oreki said

"Can I please tell you something?"

"Ok?"

"I...."

"What is it?"

"I like you!"

Silence came between them, Chitanda blushing and Oreki surprised. Ibara also looked at them shockingly.

"Chitanda..." Oreki said but he stopped when he saw Y/N. Y/N who was staring at them and dropped her ice cream. C/F/N who looked at him with mischief and put his hand on Y/N's shoulder who was trembling. Chitanda knew she made a mistake. But she did was hugged Oreki.

"G-Gomenasai....I should be going now..." Y/N said and ran off with her bag. Oreki pushed Chitanda away and about to chase her but Ibara stopped him by grabbing his arm and shaking her head that means he should give her some space.

-Meanwhile with Y/N-

"Is this really have to happen?" I asked myself. I felt tears coming through my eyes. I can't control it! When I saw Chi-Chan hugging Oreki, It felt like my heart has been stabbed a million times. This was my first time falling in love to someone but why this will happen in winter?

"The best way to ruin winter" I said and went to my house.
