Chapter 5

Flug's POV

After all that trouble I gathered enough courage to knock on Mr Blackhat's office, I awaited permission to enter as I thought about the new employee: Y/N L/N
They had gone "home", if they even have one (you dont), after I finished introducing them to everything and reminded them to pack their things.

"Come in" he finally calls out and I open the door

"Hu-hum...sir?" I started off, lifting my finger to check if I did have permission to speak

"what is it?" He asks, an annoyed expression on him

"About Mr/Miss Y/N.." his attention which was on the paper finally went to me, I notice he was still on the same page he was before I left with Y/N- which means...he had been following us
"Why..why exactly did you hire them?" I finally ask as he showed an unamused face "I-I-I mean- they were wearing scraps which were wet sir! And they clearly didnt know what they are getting themselves int--"

"You're right." I was interrupted as he stood up from his chair

"I-...I am?" I ask confused

"Why would I hire somebody who obviously didnt know what job they were asking for? Somebody so pathetically dressed?" He said walking around his chair to face the window "why would I hire ...a...a human?!" He smasked his fist against the glass making me jump.
The window which was smashed went back to being spotless as he slowly removed his fist from it
"The human doesn't even know where they are" he says, not tearing away his gaze from the window

"W-what?" I step closer to look at him, recalling the first time I saw Y/N. I finally look where he is looking and I notice he had been looking at Y/N who was playing with a cat in the alley

"This morning I saw them being washed up on the beach" he said, I turn back with eyes wide "I was sure they were dead

"That explains why they were wet and covered in sand" I say to myself with a hand on my chin "but-but why would they come here of all places?" I ask myself to which blackhat nodded "no sane person would do that" I finished as blackhat grinned and nodded again

"I hired the human because perhaps it would be fun" He grinned sending shivers down my spine. Sir didnt care whenever Y/N was good for the job or not, Y/N is here just for his amusement.

Y/N PoV

It was starting to get late, I had followed the cat to find out she had kittens. Gasping in delight I sat next to them playing and feeding any small parts of food I found next to the garbage.
Talking about food and garbage, I still haven't eaten anything and I most probably smell as well. I sigh, as I slump on the wall behind me now looking down at my feet
"Why did they hire me?" I ask myself as a frown crawled on my face, normally I'd be happy but it makes me uneasy that I had not shown one good quality yet got hired.
"Maybe they really, really, reaaalllyyy needed someone" I try to stay positive feeling a small kitten rubbing against my leg, I smile as I pet them.
"No but seriously I need something to eat"
