Because it not a very stable bond... It might as well end in the end. (NOT SAYING I DON'T TRUST PEOPLE OR PEOPLE WOULDN'T THAT CLOSE TO YOU!!!)
But that's a reason why a word was created to ensure a strong bond. Family.
