Chapter 1.6: "The Hero and The Demons"

"What's that?" Viollette asked Carla-sensei who is also became wary to her surroundings. It seems like they are ready to attack if something happens.

"A demon! That sound is the demon's howl!" She hurriedly said.

"Demon? That means that roar is indicating he was being attacked?"

"Maybe... The heroes must be the one attacking it."

"I'll go take a look."

"No! Wait!" Before she can stop Viollette, she already disappear from her sight.

"Uggh! What a reckless child!" She wants to go with Viollette but unfortunately, she can't leave her mom alone. With her injuries, Carla-sensei don't have choice but to stay here.

"Please be safe, demons." Carla-sensie prayed for the demon and the hero.

Carla-sensei and grandma Lea is very strong but compare to the growth of Viollette in a year, they can't compare themselves to her.

Viollette saw a knights fighting a demon. The demon flying on the air while fighting the knights. He has a black skin, a horn on his two sides head, a two long sharp fangs on his mouth, a dead black eyes, a very thin body. Indeed, it looks weak but it's very strong.

The knights are having hard time fighting it.

Viollette is sitting on the tree that's why she can see clearly what's happening. She hide her presence very well so she won't be notice.

As she observe the fight very carefully, she notices a guy leaning on the tree with a bored look.

He has a messy black hair and a very cold green eyes. His eyes is very eye catching. He is also wearing a knight clothes but his is a black coat while the knights have white. So, he's very noticeable especially he's doing nothing but stare at the ground.

If I'm right, he's the hero.

I also read in the book, that all heroes has black hair.

He came from another world, just like me. *Smirk* This world is getting more and more exciting.

He looks like a professor in a school with his looks or the most fitting is CEO.

He's very handsome and that coldness surrounding him is very fitting to his appearance.

Viollette glare at his direction. Remembering how he injured her grandma Lea makes her blood boil from anger.

She didn't make her glare obvious or she will be find out easily. So, she retracted her gaze and just watch the fight of the knights.

As the knights finished the demon, a horde of demons suddenly appeared one by one.

The hero also started fighting them and when the hero helped the knights, the fight finished quickly. Before they can relax, a very strong demon appeared.

This demon has a human look but with the horns and the wings on his back, he really looks like a demon. A high rank demon at that.

If I remember correctly, the demon lord has 10 high ranking demon. They don't have the same power as the demon lord but they are still second to the demon lord so that only means, he is one of them.

I was so surprise when the demon suddenly click his thumb, killing the knights instantly. The hero is all left now. I think he use a mana that can instantly kill the weak. If your weak, then you can't ever withstand the power even the aura of those strong demons or human.

It's indeed very strong. How much if it's the demon lord we're talking about? His servants is all strong.

I suddenly remember the anime 'Overlord'. All of his subordinates are all strong even the maids. How amazing is that? Isn't that cool?
