Chapter 1.16: "Mission to Accomplish"

The little fairy who's suspicious and scared at first is now crying in front of Viollette.

Viollette let her tears flows as much as she want while listening to her story.

"Please help me!"

The little fairy now trusts Viollette and she doesn't have choice but to ask for her help. Base on her powers, the little fairy needs to ask for her help no matter what. Only Viollette can help her.

"My mom and *sniff* dad, the fairy land was attack by those evil and filthy human. Please help me! You are the only one who can help me! The whole village was attack and captured. Please help me! Please!"

Viollette was confused? How can a human catch a spirits? Spirits is rarely seen by the people.

"I thought you are spirits and what I know, spirits couldn't be seen by the naked eye. How could a human captured a spirits when in the first place, you can make yourself invisibles?"

"I don't know but all I know they were spreading something on the air. It's twinkling... It's beautiful but I know it's dangerous!"

"I don't know but this dust, when we made contact with this twinkling dust, we suddenly felt weaken. Our glowing light slowly lost their colors. They will fall down and lost their consciousness." The little fairy explained making Viollette understand the whole situation.

Violet dusts, I kind of remember this in the book. If I'm right, this dust is a forbidden poison.

"Hmmm... I have another question, did one of your kind betrayed your land?"

The little fairy thought about her question but she doesn't remember anything.  After all, she's just a tiny little spirit who doesn't know anything about the outside world. Though she knows that humans can't be trusted easily. They are greedy for their power. She knows that the outside world is dangerous. But in her own kind, she knows, no one will betray them. It was quite impossible if someone really betray them.

"Betrayed? No, there's none."

"No, I'm sure someone betrayed your village. After all, if I'm right those dusts they used is only spirits can make that."

"What???" The little fairy was very surprised, she never expected that those dusts are made by the spirits.

So someone really betray them. But why???

"I read this once in the books. Only spirits can make those violet dusts. I think it's called... 'Spirit Soul'. It's sucks spirit's mana and then they will slowly be weaken. As the spirits strength weakening, they will slowly lost their colors until they lost their consciousness. Those dusts needs a lot of mana and also a lot of rare ingredients. This ingredients needs the power of spirits, the guardian of the nature. Only you, spirits, can make those ingredient. The Spirit Soul is a poison to you, spirits. If you make contact, it will be like you lost your soul. Iit's like a slave contract or something."

The little fairy is speechless. She was flabbergasted. She never knew about that someone will betray them. She knows the 'Spirit Soul' but she only heard it from her parents.

"But my parents told me that Spirit Soul's recipe has been lost a long time ago."

"I read that also..."

"I didn't know that spirits can make the Spirit Soul again and someone will betray us."

"I get the whole picture. Ok, I'll help you but remember, I'll help because I want rewards."

"Really? You'll help???" Finally, a smile bloom on her face.

"En. I'll help you. I also want to know something."
