Chapter 19

Priya POV:
While I was singing, I thought I saw Bhavesh! I opened my eyes again and he wasn't there. As soon as I finished the song I ran down the stage and went to Avi.

Priya: Avi! Was Bhavesh here?!
Avi: Yeah, he couldn't stay long so he left. Just went out!
Priya: WHAT?!

I ran out as fast as I could. I looked in the road and saw a car leaving, I assumed it was him. I sat down onto the bench thinking I missed my only chance. That's when I thought someone was behind me, I turned around and nobody was there. I felt like crying, before a tear could even fall... I felt a hand on my shoulder and a voice.

Voice: Can I sit?

I looked up and saw it was Bhavesh. I was so happy to see him, I stood up and hugged him so tight!

Priya: Bhavesh!!!! Oh my god I thought you left! 😰
Bhavesh: How could I leave without meeting you? 😂

After that we sat down for a while, and then he got up all of a sudden.

Bhavesh: I have a surprise for you, let's go inside.
Priya: Okay..

We went inside and he told me to wait near the stage. He went over to Jai and whispered something to him, at that point Rani walked over.

Rani: Oohh! Someone's getting a surprise!
Priya: Haha Yeah, I was scared I thought he left and he surprised me by coming here already.
Rani: Jai told me he planned something big, a while ago. So get ready to be amazed!
Priya: Do you know what it is?
Rani: Nope, But I'm guessing Avi and Krupa know because Avi has had her phone out for a while.
Priya: Oh no 😅

Then Bhavesh called me over... and Jai called Raina over.

Priya: Lets go...
Rani: Yeah

We walked over to them and I saw Jai whispering in Rani ear and her face lit up. Just then Bhavesh asked if I wanted to dance, so I said yes. We were in the middle of the floor when I saw people walking away until it was just me and him dancing. Then I heard the dj say this:

Dj: We decided to change it up a little, now we are going to play a slow Bollywood love song for requested by Bhavesh.

That's my favorite song. As soon as the song ended Bhavesh got on one knee. I was surprised, I was all red.

He got up and picked me up in the air. Everyone started clapping, even this one kid named Andrew who said I would never get a boyfriend was clapping. So I stuck my tongue out at him and he rolled his eyes! 😂 Jai and Rani ran up and hugged us, Avi was about to come when Sidd and Ari came to us first. Avi just walked away. Krupa came and hugged us and we were all happy, and then they decided to have a couples slow dance... Sidd was dancing with Ari, and Avi got mad....
