A Satisfied Ending (Sequel to More Than Best Friends)

Six Years Later...

CATELYN'S POV

"Did you see Fukufire flirting with my dad? Do you think he's breaking up with Mom," Elys asked. I laughed. "No way! My aunt Frisk is the best! If your dad broke up with her, he would be making a huge mistake," I encouraged. Elys smiled. We continued walking home from school. The streets were filled with monster kids and humans playing ball and kick the can. We caught sight of Uncle Sans sitting down at the doorstep of our house.

"Hi Dad," Elys waved and we walked inside. Mom and Dad sat on the couch reading a book. I sat down between them. "Hi, Mom! Are you guys working on another book," I asked. My dad was an author so he was always looking for help with his stories. I snuck a peek at the book. It had a blue cover and it said, "The Black Hole Generation." I reached for the book but Mom pulled it away. "What's it about, Mom," I asked, though I still reached for the book. She smiled.

"It's about a group of friends. Each of them is a wizard that cast different types of spells. One day, one of them casts the wrong spell, sending them into a black hole. They learn new ways of life, such as technology. Eventually, they escape and share the new generation with the world," Mom explained. I didn't understand that much. However, I still liked it. Mom hugged me. "Can you help with the story? I have a little bit of writer's block at the moment," Dad asked me. I nodded with excitement.

Elys, Uncle Sans, and Aunt Frisk sat down too. "We want to help too," Elys said. Mom smiled and handed them the book. And then we all worked on a book together as the sunset occurred on the horizon. Turns out it became a bestseller soon enough. Mom and Dad had their first anniversary. Elys and I were straight-A students. Life seemed pretty good. I couldn't wait for the world would bring next.

This was a perfect ending!
