We walked out from between the two buildings and on to the sidewalk. There had been many people on these streets. Walking and rushing. I hadn't noticed how bad it was until my shoulder was hit as someone rushed by. I couldn't blame them I had been slowly following lavender with my head in the clouds.
We continued walking down the street until lavender came to a halt and jumped up on a clear box that had had the front opened and a seat inside. There had been no one there so I took a seat. I had no clue what was happening and lavender hadn't been able to talk in public so I just decided to sit and wait.
It had been around 5 minutes later and a big blue vehicle came in front. I went to walk in the front until I noticed lavender had walked into a door in the back that had a big Exit sign above it so I turned around and followed him. I didn't want to take any chances in this new place. When we all entered it felt like attention was immediately drawn to us and they didn't try to hide it. I had understood why though. I had been wearing a flowy white dress that I had didn't even remember changing into and Noen was wearing tight black pants with a loose white button-up. It could've been that but it could've also been the fact I had a cat in my arms.
The people in the vehicle didn't seem to care about us very long as they all turned back to the small rectangles in their hands.
I began looking around and reading things hoping to understand more. I would definitely need a lesson about these things from lavender. There had been many signs there was one next to the seats that had been in the front that had said the seats were only for elderly and disabled people. Even though this sign had been up the seats had still been filled with young people. This place sure was confusing.
I was brought out of my thoughts and the vehicle came to a stop. People began entering and people began leaving. The front seats had still been full as an elderly woman slowly entered. A sigh came from a girl in the front but still, no one got up. The elderly woman walked to the other side of the bus and grabbed a poll. This had been a shock. I wanted to go home this place seemed like it wasn't for me. I calmed myself down and hoped not everyone was like this.
Finally, the vehicle came to a stop and lavender hopped out of my arms. Noen and I followed lavender out the vehicle. It had been almost dark I wondered how long it had been as we walked down a street that seemed so familiar. There had been practically no people on the streets as we turned a corner. Lavender walked in front of us and came to a stop. He had stopped in front of a red building and waited for us to catch up. Once we reached him he began walking up the stairs. When we reached the front door if the building lavender began looking around
He came close to us and said "the number is 1211 put it in"
I went up to the box next to the door and put in the number. It took a minute but then a loud buzz came from the box
"go-go," said lavender
Noen rushed and opened the door. We all rushed in and went straight from the red door in front of us. I was shocked to see it wasn't a room but a box with buttons. I got in anyway.
"look you guys need to change back to your human form for right now until you decide to tell them," said lavender
"so I have to be a kid for my whole time here," Noen asked with his eyebrows raised
"well not always just in front of the people who know you...well Erina"
And with that Noen began the shapeshifting spell. Noens smarts in magic had been a big help. I hope his big mouth wouldn't be the thing that messes him up. He began putting a lot of energy into the spell. After he turned himself. He turned to me magic had been an indescribable feeling. You could tell when magic was being used on you. Light magic had always felt soft it would make you feel lighter. Dark magic was something I had yet to experience.
I had been scared I didn't know what to expect I didn't know this "Family" and I didn't know anything about their world. I had to let it go through I had let go of my biggest feat and came to this world. Why did I still live in constant fear?
We walked out and followed lavender to a door. I looked at Noen and knew what I had to do.
I knocked
I lady opened the door she looked younger than my mom. She didn't look at me she looked straight at lavender and then me.
"oh hi eleven," said the lady as she bent down to lavender.
Eleven? It had seemed like lavender has my secrets and many different lives. Probably many different names.
She stood up and looked at me and Noen.
"thank you two for bringing him back but he's always in and out of here anyways" she laughed she looked at me harder then she had before " you look so familiar what's your name".
"Erina," I said.
Her face dropped. She looked as if her heart stopped. Like she had just seen a ghost. I had never seen someone react to me like that. I knew that the lady had known me. I didn't understand how but I knew she wasn't just some random lady.
"Ma Erina's home!!" she yelled with wide eyes
