Another World

The Fae

I knew that Gemma has been right. She was always right but this time nobody assumed the worst. It was the worst.

People screamed as men and woman flew down from the colorful sky. I knew they were the fae and I knew that they were here for me. I also knew how corrupt they've been with others. We were in danger.

These fairies weren't just tiny people in cute little outfits, in fact, these fairies weren't even small at all. They were just humans with wings and magic which wasn't good for the innocent humans that filled the festival.

It was obvious these fairies weren't here to meet the humans or join the party. They had all had amour and weapons except for one. I could tell who she was because they were too high but I knew she had to be the one who leads people but was too afraid to help. That just seemed like a fairy thing to do.

"they're here Noen," I said as I got up from the ground.

"the whole time it's been them," he said while shaking his head "why am I not surprised"

"I figured only fairies would try and kill someone because they left their land"

"We need to go and hide," Noen said as he grabbed my hand and began running

I didn't want them to take me and I definitely didn't want them to kill me like they've been trying to do. So I ran I ran without thinking I needed to live that's all I wanted. I had got far that was until someone called my name

"Erina you have to face then that's the only way they'll leave us alone. You can't just run away from your problems you ran away from the monster and you ran away from the shark but it didn't do anything they're still here and there still going to find you" I turned around and made eye contact with lavender but it wasn't long before lavender shape shifted to the man I saw that night "these aren't my words there Gemma's"

That sentence changed everything. I knew that Gemma had always been right so what was the point if fighting it.

I walked towards lavender or whatever his name was "let's go"

"get on my back," he said as he turned from a man to a giant panther

"the names ollie," he said after I finished wrapping myself around his body

"You have too many names," I said. I turned to Noen
" get there fast try that teleportation thingy"

"stay safe," he said

And with that, we took off

People moved out the way as me and...Ollie made our way to the faeries. They all stared at me. I felt comfort as my friends emerged from the crowd.

Then Myrin

Elora

Deena

Even Serina and Gemma walked to the front. Gemma still wasn't fully ok but she still tried.

It wasn't until I reached the fairies that Noen came out.

Then Everly.

She had tear stains on her cheeks. I didn't know what had happened but I knew it was bad enough to make join us. She was the girl who wanted to be a fairy so bad and here she was fighting for the humans.

The fae didn't say anything to us. They just stood there watching us as humans cried and children screamed.  Even Police came but all they could do was watch and stare at the fae.

"what you do want," Noen said as he ran his fingers through his hair

The man in the front who I suppose was the leader of the warriors laughed " you know your powers don't stand a chance against mine right I feel like we've already tested this theory Noen"

Whoever this man was he had known us personally and he had even tested his powers against Noen. He tested his powers against Noen.

Anger ran through my vain "Arvo!" I yelled. Not with love, not with sadness, not with numbness but with pure rage.

He no longer made me sad. He no longer held a special place in my heart. I hated him with a passion. All I wanted to do was take his sword and shove it through his stomach. That's what he deserved. He had caused me all this pain. He had been behind all of my attacks and he broke my heart.

That was all I could handle I had reached my breaking point as I launched towards him but of course all different types of hands grabbed me and brought me back to my original spot.

"Well miss Erina Huntress your right" Arvo said as he pulled his helm off of his head. He shook his hair and them smiled at me "look we're not here to hurt you, in fact, we plan to but we just want to offer you and the other faeries to join us against the humans"

People cried and screamed. I knew what was going to happen to them and I knew I had to fight but then again that's what Arvo told me. Nothing made sense everything he told me was right yet he was still a traitor.

"No!!" Everly yelled as a blue flame arose from her hand and flew towards Arvo

Avro was quick to block her magic and send her flying backward. I couldn't let him do that to her. I couldn't control my powers but when I was angry they just naturally came out

A red bolt flew out my hand and hit Arvo right on his right cheek. From what everly pulled I could see the anger in his face but after what I did I knew he was furious. He clenched his fist and closed his eyes but then unexpectedly he let go.

Blood dripped down from his cheek. He smiled at me " I see you found your powers to bad you are no longer able to fight for us you would have been using full"

He turned back to his soldiers and began talking

"wait" a voice yelled from the crowd

Suddenly Nixie, her boyfriend, and his little sister emerged from the crowd

Arvo turned around with a sinister smile

"I want to join you" she said

We all stared at them in disgust in fact everyone stared at her in disgust.

"great great" Arvo yelled as he motioned them to join the fairies " is that all"

"yes that's all," Noen said

"Noen??!!" said an unrecognizable voice. "come home please" it was his mother she emerged from the crowd of soldiers she had no armor on. I realized she was the lady I had to seen earlier the Coward of them all.

"don't fall for it" I whispered

"I'm not coming home you should have cared while you had me... I have a family now one that I'm not going to give up" Noen said as his hand connected with mine

At first, his mother had been crying and yelling for him but after what he said she no longer felt that way. Her tears disappeared quickly I could read her so well I knew she was just a liar.

"you'll regret it you ungrateful Coward choosing your little friends over your life" she yelled I could tell she was about to continue but Arvo interrupted her.

"let's go, Ms. Grimm" Arvo said softly to Noen's mom but then he turned to us " we have decided to not kill you at least for today we will be back and it will be war I hope all the human's out here really give love to there little superheroes because they'll need it"
