"Maybe we shouldn't ask them," Elora said as she scratched her neck
This had been constant ever since we left the human world to come and ask the elves for help in the upcoming war. Of course, we all could see just how much Elora didn't want to go but nobody really wanted to ask why.
Elora definitely hadn't been the needed type if fact she was the opposite. She had always been taking care of us. She made us cookies, gave us advice and tried to stay far away from the drama and the war situation.
I hadn't know why. She had always voiced her opinions when it came to us but ever since the fae had come she tried to avoid anything that had to do with them.
Today hadn't been an exception
"as we could umm bake or something," Elora said as we got closer to the base of the elves.
At this point, everyone had just been ignoring her. We had no choice. We had to gather others or we would lose and we couldn't lose. If we lost others would be affected. I saw it with my own eyes.
I wish gemma would have let me in on exactly what I would be looking at that day but she didn't.
Now that was all I could think of. The Fae would concur all the other world if we didn't win.
They were so greedy.
They want everything they couldn't have and it showed. They ruined everything. Living in peace? That was gone. Being united? That was gone. All because of them.
This just added another reason for me to fight. More anger for me to use towards them. I continued to become angrier as the days went by I just got better at hiding it.
I was positive that nobody knew how I was feeling and I liked it like that. I was always the type to keep things to myself tillia had been the only person I really talked to but that didn't last long.
The way she acted after I told get I wanted to fight was of pure fear. That was something she never let on about but of course, I could see it. I was just like her I didn't want to fight either but sometimes your heart is stronger than your brain and for me it was.
We hadn't been the same since then. It's hard to forgive someone at least for me. I had always been the type to hold grudges and this was my mother. That just made it hurt differently.
I just wanted to get today over with. All I wanted was for Elora to ask them and for them to say yes.
It wasn't long before we finally came to a gate. This gate had been covered in leaves, in fact, the whole place had been covered in leaves it was very obvious that elves lived here.
Elora suddenly stopped us from walking in
"Can I be honest with you?" she asked
Everyone nodded in synchronization
"I'm an elf but I am not an elf?" she said almost like she was confused " you see I am an elf but I'm not from here. I don't know the leader and I don't know anyone here so I can't talk to them...they don't know me"
Of course, things weren't going to be as easy as I wanted it to be.
"that's why you found us in the unknown?" I asked
"yea" she responded
"and you decided now to tell us this..to tell me this?" Tillia asked obviously angry at Elora's poor judgment. Tillia didn't have any room to talk about.
"look she was probably just scared I'm sure we all know how that feels...no matter how hard we try and hide it," I said to Tillia. I wondered if she understood what I really meant when I said that "I'll talk to them don't worry about it"
I was the leader after all

"Ok, your turn," said the blond-haired boy had previously shown to the waiting room. Yes, waiting room.
Apparently, their leader had been very busy.
Elora sighed as she covered her ears with her red hair. I knew that she knew nothing about her people but it made no sense to me why she wanted to hide so bad. I didn't have any time to think about it as I was dragged to the room of the leader.
The room had been stunning and very elf-like. The king sat on his thrown. The thrown had been so high that I could possibly break my neck if I looked up with no break. The thrown had been made from what looked like pure gold. Diamonds and rhinestones also covered the thrown. I was pretty obvious this man really cared about his riches.
His face had shown no emotion and it stood that way almost like stone. He had long hair that reached the bottom of his stomach and his crown had been huge and also covered in his riches. He had a giant fur coat that had not been very elve-like. The only thing that showed he was an elf was his pointy ears poking out.
"what would you like," said the woman that stood next to his thrown.
I didn't even know how to ask this it was a weird thing to ask someone but I needed to do it.
"i need your help in our war against the fae" I said to the man looking into his eyes to show that I had been very serious. No matter what he would say I did not plan on backing down.
He didn't speak the woman next to him didn't speak either.
"I-" I started to talk but my speech was cut off.
The man's face began to move. His straight lips began to go up into was seemed like a smile. Slowly his face grew a huge grin and then he began laughing.
At first, I was confused. It didn't take long for me to assume he had thought I was joking. That was until he spoke.
"I've been waiting for this day"
