Go!!//Part three

"This is the place," I said as we finally entered the same waters that had separated us not too long ago.

"It seems pretty empty," said the black-haired mermaid who's name was Serina. I understood that it looked empty but that doesn't mean it was

"your friends are probably dead," said Gemma "I wonder why you didn't just transport them with you guys"

  I just wanted to find my friends and the fact that she was implying that we purposefully left them or something annoyed me. I knew I should have kept shut because they're supposedly helping us but I just couldn't hold back.

  Before I got the chance to spit out harsh words in annoyance and anger something began hitting my neck.

  I looked down to the small seashell that hung from my neck in confusion. The shell had been shaking and it was shaking a lot at that.

  The two girls began scraping the perimeter for some sign of my friends so they hadn't seen it. It was only Noen and me and the shaking shell on my neck didn't go unnoticed to him.

  I turned to look at him and he had been staring at the shell. Then his eyes met mine and then they were brought back to the shell on my neck. This kind of annoyed me but everything annoyed me at this moment.

  I grabbed the shell on my neck hoping it would stop shaking but that's not what happened

  A flash of light filled my vision. I felt something grab my leg and before I could even figure out what happened my head was fully submerged in the water but this time I couldn't breathe. I saw bubbles come to my mouth but then I looked down.

A charcoal black monster had both of its hands around my ankles. I tried to scream but the only thing that came out was bubbles. The monster had seaweed coming out both its eyes and ears. I looked closer only to realize the monster had been covered in seaweed.

I looked up trying to ask Noen for help or something But there was no one there.

The monster grabbed my legs harder I could feel it's sharp nails scrape against my legs. I knew there was nothing I could do

My vision got blurry as the monster began pulled through the sand very fast. I could barely see what was happening as I turned around and looked for something to grab onto as I being dragged. My hands landed on some seaweed that quickly gave out the moment I grabbed it. I had nothing left. My nails scraped against the sand as I continued being dragged.

It wasn't long before things began to get bumpy I was no longer being dragged on the sand I was being dragged through rocks. My head bounced up and down over these rocks yet I felt no pain.

I decided to close my eyes because I didn't want to see where I would end up.

I came to a stop. I felt the cold hands release me. I knew that I had finally made it to my destination I didn't want to know where I had been or what was going to happen. I heard cries coming from around me. This had confirmed my suspicions where ever I had been it wasn't nice.

"were never gonna get out of here Noen and Erina are probably dead and we're next," said a voice. I immediately opened my eyes to see who was there.

I was shocked to see all my friends but they didn't seem to be very shocked to see me. They had all been there. I could only see the top of their heads but that was enough.

"guys oh my gosh you guys are alive I found you" I shouted when I finally got up from out of the water and into the tiny space of air that had been in the cave.
