And I look at him as he looks at me
As our inner worlds collide
His pink lips matches the shade of my flushed cheeks
Everything feels different, everything feels real with him.
When Ivar makes me weak, he makes me strong
But Alfred gives me the butterflies, while Ivar gives me the whole zoo.
As Jezebel speaks I look at him through my black veil
A sense of safety and security wraps my crushed heart as he holds my warm hands with his cold ones
He's not perfect, but at-least he stays...
"I do" He says
As all the eyes turn towards me
"Nova?" Jezebel turns towards me and her voice shakes me into the reality
I look at Lagertha and Bjorn who both nod
Kitty holds Alfie in her arms as he watches me with his big blue eyes
"I..um" I stutter
"Nova, are you still undecided?" Alfred whispers
"Oh no Alfred, it is just so overwhelming" I whisper back
Thinking back to that time I was about to marry that monster of a man, Andrew. When Ivar saved me, and thea day I married Ivar.
Ahhh these memories they float in the air
"I do love you, you know that?" Alfred says as he bends a little to look into my eyes
"Yes, I do" I say
"YOU MAY NOW KISS THE BRIDE" Jezebel erupts as the very few people in the attendance clap
When I try to decipher what has exactly happened
I feel Alfred lips on mine...

"She went ahead with it didn't she?" I ask as the man sighs
"Yes" He says
"Leave" I say as I walk back to my chamber
I lay my head on the floor as tears fall down my eyes knowing that it was me, it was all me who made her marry some other man
I wish I loved her more..
I wish I told her I loved her...
I wish I never made her cry...
