A few days later, a tired Seokjin made his way down the hall of the apartment building.

His head hung low, his eyes felt as if he had been wiping them with sand paper and all he wanted to do was go back to his own apartment, feed his dog then go to sleep.

But instead, he made his way over to room 364 and knocked on it twice before sliding the key into the keyhole and unlocking the apartment door.

''Yoongi?!'' He called out as he kicked his shoes off and hung up his jacket.

He didn't get a reply, his voice had been muffled by a melody. He stopped and listened, realizing the melody was coming from a piano. For a second, he found it normal that there was a song being played on the piano, Yoongi loved to play music at any given chance.

But then the realization that it couldn't have been Yoongi playing that song washed over him and resulting in him dashing into the living room to see who had the nerve to play Yoongi's instrument.

''Yoon-'' He wanted to call out again as he made his way through the doorframe, but stopped himself when he noticed the scene in front of him.

A pair of males were sat by the piano, their shoulders pressed against each other and bright smiles on their faces as the taller of the two moved his fingers swiftly over the keys pressing down on them and singing along to the song.

Seokjin stood in awe for several different reasons:

a) Yoongi was actually smiling and bobbing his head to the song that was being played

b) Taehyung was an incredible performer

and

c) Yoongi had actually allowed another person to play, let alone, touch his piano

The song came to an end, snapping Seokjin out of his state of awe.

He couldn't help but bring his hands together and clap for the male, causing the pair to both flinch in shock, just now realizing somebody else had been watching them the entire time.

''Oh, Seokjin hyung, when did you get here.'' Taehyung greeted, a faint blush noticeable on his cheeks. He must've been embarrassed to have somebody else hear him perform.

''I just got here.'' Seokjin replied with a sweet smile, Yoongi didn't turn his head into Seokjin's direction, but Seokjin could still see the small smile which painted his lips.

Seokjin couldn't help but feel a form of relief upon seeing his friend smile.

''What time is it?'' Yoongi questioned, for once actually sounding cheerful and full of life.

''A bit past five.'' Seokjin replied.

''Already?'' Taehyung questioned with wide eyes. ''It feels like I just got here.'' He chuckled causing Yoongi to smile even brighter.

''Yeah well, I'm glad at least you had a nice day.'' Seokjin replied; that same smile still stretched over his lips.

''Jinnie what's wrong?'' Yoongi questioned, his expression changing from cheerful to worried in a split second.

''Just... A bit tired I guess...'' Seokjin replied with a wave of the hand. An odd sensation settled in his stomach as he continued to observe the two males in front of him. It felt almost surreal to see Yoongi this present in a conversation.

''Long day at work?'' Taehyung questioned, wearing a concerned expression of his own.

''Yeah...'' Seokjin confirmed with a small nod.

''Well hyung, if you're tired you can go home and rest, I don't mind staying here with Yoongi hyung.'' Taehyung assured with a bright smile, shocking both of the males.

''Really?'' They questioned at the same time.

''Well yeah, you were about to show me more of your music sheets for me to learn anyway. Plus it's Friday, it's not like I have classes tomorrow.''

''I mean, Yoongi if it's okay with you...'' Seokjin trailed off as he observed his friend's behavior, making sure the male wasn't tensing up or starting to feel nervous.

''Yeah... Sure...'' Yoongi's voice became quieter again, but the smile remained on his face as he nodded his head lightly. ''Jinnie if you're tired you can go home, you don't need me giving you a headache as well.''

''Okay... Are you really sure?'' Seokjin felt the need to check one last time.

''We'll be fine.'' Yoongi nodded his head. ''I'd say I'll see you tomorrow, but I really won't so...'' Seokjin bit his tongue to hold back a chuckle and Taehyung freely giggled at the joke.

''I'll see you tomorrow, Yoongi.'' Seokjin added.

''That you will.'' Yoongi nodded in confirmation a smile still present on his face.

''Okay, then, I guess I'll go home then. Don't go too crazy while I'm gone.'' Seokjin spoke up after a brief moment of silence.

''We'll be good, Jinnie, don't worry about us.'' Yoongi assured.

''Alright then, Namjoon and I are coming over tomorrow, and we're going out for lunch, okay?''

Used to Yoongi not replying to him, he waved a goodbye to Taehyung and turned on his heels to get to the end of the hall and to the entrance room. He put his shoes back on. And by the time he opened the front door and stepped one foot out of the apartment, Taehyung had already started playing another song.
