"Hello? Shhh! Shh! I'm on the phone," My boyfriend answered on the second ring.
"Hi, baby," I yawned.
"Hey, gorgeous," he greeted. "It's 7 here that means it's 10 there. Are you just getting home from work?"
"After work Zac and I went out for Chinese. I was seriously craving it," I chuckled softly as I made my way through my rented out condo.
"That was nice."
"Mhm. Where are you?" I asked him.
"Studio with Slim, Dub, and Pete," he said.
I yawned again, nodding before realizing he couldn't see me. "Can you please hurry up and finish your album because it's killing me being away from you? And I have no time off until Christmas Eve-Eve. I already missed thanksgiving with you," I mumbled sadly.
"I know, baby. We've both been busy."
I scoffed, "I'm tired, Colson. I think I'm going to take a bath and go to sleep."
