I groaned in annoyance even as Zac turned off the annoying alarm. He was going out for his morning jog that he thankfully took Zeus on. Noon wasn't as active. But Zeus was a dog who loved to run. And like my dog, I did not.
"Morning," Zac yawned, kissing my cheek before rolling out of bed. I slowly sat up,watching him head to the en-suite. Zac and I were finally in a routine of living together. It was simple. It was easy. And we were comfortable. I wasn't ready to leave in two days for Europe for two months. Then have to come home and get back into a rhythm. Hopefully it wouldn't change when I come back.
Per usual I followed after Zac into the en-suite. He handed me my toothbrush and we both brushed our teeth. "I'm having lunch with my dad later today," he reminded me and I nodded.
"Okay," I mumbled around my toothbrush. When we both finished, we both started stripping. Only I was getting naked to hop into the shower while he was tossing his pajamas into the hamper to go put on running clothes. Then he'd come back to shower while I made breakfast. Our routine.
