"Colson," I frowned, pulling away as he was kissing my neck. He stopped and moved his head so our eyes met as he hovered over me.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"I'm not in the mood," I said and he raised a brow.
"Okaaaay," he dragged out confused, plopping down next to me while I winced.
"It's just... my stomach hurts and I'm so tired," I lied.
"You need medicine or anything?" He frowned, running a hand through my hair. I shook my head and cuddled closer to him. "You sure?"
"I'm okay. I just want a nap."
"Okay. Get some sleep," he said, kissing my forehead. I rested my head on his chest, listening to his steady heart beat hoping it would ease my guilt and lull me to sleep.
"You're so sweet," I mumbled softly as he pulled the covers over us. He chuckled at my comment and rested his head on mine.
"Wait till you see what I got you for Christmas."
"I got you something awesome too."
"I assure you, mine is better."
I scoffed, "no way."

"Hey, can't really talk right now," I answered Zac's call while I was in the kitchen alone making popcorn.
"Is that why you're almost whispering?"
"Yes. What's up?" I asked him.
"Get this, Sami just showed up."
"What? No."
"My mom had a fit. And now the two are painting each other's nails."
"Okay. That sounds like a good thing. What's the problem?"
"I want to break up with her."
"Oh, yeah. Forgot about that."
"And I didn't get her anything for Christmas because we agreed not to cause we just got back together. But she showed up with a nice fancy watch for me."
"Well, you better hope a store is open so you can get her something."
"What do I get her?"
"I don't know. She's your girlfriend. What does she like?"
"I don't know!"
"Hey, baby?! Can you grab me a beer?" Colson called from the living room.
"Sure thing!" I shouted back to him. "Zac I have to go. I'm in the middle of family time. Bye."
"Ugh. Later," he said and I rolled my eyes, ending the call. A smile was on my face though. I tried to force it away but then I grinned wider thinking about Zac. And him possibly breaking up with Sami. Oh, please don't do it over Christmas time dude.
