[ Host. This is the day when the FL will transfer into the school. ]

Annabell was just leaving her house after eating breakfast and fixing her makeup when Jules decided to drop this bombshell on her. Well, it should've been a bombshell but Annabell made no moves to freak out or curse at Jules she simply shrugged.

"Good. I've almost finished all my preparations anyway. Just need to join the Newspaper Club since they meet in the mornings." She said indifferently, beginning her walk to school.

[ .... Really? ]

"Really. Now, does the FL take my route to school?"

[ Yes. ]

Annabell sneered, an expression no one who ever met the girl would expect she could wear. "Then let's give her a show." When she stepped onto the main road of the school bustling with students, her sneer turned into a natural small smile. Sweet and charming. Per usual, everyone around was stunned and started voicing their good mornings.

"Snow White! G'morning. We missed you yesterday!"

"Eh, Annabell. Where were you yesterday? We were so worried."

"Snow White looks as pretty as a princess! Per usual, of course."

"Why wouldn't our princess look like one? I wonder where she was yesterday..."

Annabell met each of these greetings, at least the ones said directly to her, with a smile and reply. Of course, this kind of commotion would catch the attention of anyone who was unfamiliar with such a scene. Just like the beloved FL. The blonde girl wasn't originally that attentive to the constant chatter around her, but the constant saying of 'Snow White' was a bit confusing.

'Do they mean like in the fairy tale? I didn't know high schoolers were so into those still...'

Charlotte Dixon, our most unfortunate heroine, walked tightly within the packs of students and possible friends with careful steps as to not step on anyone's feet and have no one step on her's. Having moved to this city from across the country with her mom and her 'husband', she had no idea where she was going until she had reached this sidewalk filled with kids wearing the same uniform as her. It was a bit annoying to have none of the attention on her for once, as her old school had been under her thumb for as long as she'd lived in that city. She subconsciously began to look for this 'Snow White' character. When she saw her, she instantly understood the name.

Long raven black hair, diamond grey eyes, and dewey peach skin. A pure smile. And an innate type of radiance that screams 'princess'. Charlotte couldn't help but be stunned. Subtly, Charlotte couldn't help but feel the smallest bit jealous. It wasn't often she saw someone just as pretty, if not prettier, than her. Unbeknownst to her, this 'Snow White' was mentally cackling at her starstruck yet dark expression. It was so silly, she couldn't help it. The FL looked way too idiotic for Annabell not to find her comical.

"Anna! What happened to you yesterday?! You never answered any of my texts!"

Arms suddenly encircled Annabell, the familiar tanned arms of Maxine. She was pouting up a storm, clinging onto Annabell like her life depended on it. The black-haired girl couldn't help but laugh and pet the girl's head. The scene was one of cute reunion.

"I'm sorry, Max. Had a couple of at-home troubles." Annabell told her, voice seeming to coo at her. "Will you ever forgive me?"

Maxine made a face at that. Home troubles? What kind of home troubles? The red-head couldn't help but silently search for any bruises on her friend's porcelain skin. Due to its color, one would surely notice a crack in it. Fortunately, there was no such thing to be found on Annabell's person. Maxine let out a sigh of relief.
