Walkers

It had been 20 days since the girls found the house. Their new home.

The girls were doing okay. They were actually doing pretty fine. Raven and Elyza had blocked off the windows with the cupboards and some cardboards, Raven had secured the door, to the best of her abilities and they actually had decent weapons now.. Raven had her trusty screwdriver along with a baseball bat and a bolo knife. Elyza had a Latin machete along with a bowie knife.

They had these weapons because they had raided a knife store about a week ago. It had pretty good stuff. Apparently people don't raid knives as much as they do guns and food...

Anyways. They had to go out to search for decent weapons other than a screwdriver and a kitchen knife because when they were cleaning the walkers, yeah they call them walkers now, something happened...

A week ago

Both the girls are chilling on the couch eating food.

"Hey Rae. We gotta clean up those zombies outside.." Elyza asked as she heard the zombies growling outside the windows.

"Yeah yeah sure not now though" Raven said as she made herself more comfortable.

"C'mon we gotta clean em' up. Passerbys will notice that there are people inside! And before you say, I know there aren't a lot but we saw 2 just literally 2 days ago. Who's to say more won't come?! And maybe they won't all be running to not notice the small group of zombies outside only one house!"

(Two days ago Raven had seen 2 people, males, running on the streets shouting to the people behind them to leave them alone. Raven had called Elyza to take a look but Elyza wanted to help them. Raven had said no because it was a suicide mission. Elyza knew it too. They didn't have any decent weapons and the herd was too big for 2 people. Atleast 20 in size. So they had just seen them run to nothing but their death)

The guys had brought some stragglers from the herd. They had divided from the herd and coiled up in front of the house along with some local zombies because of the noise the girls made. There weren't alot.. About 5 or so. But they were near the front entrance. So they couldn't get out unless they took care of them.

"I mean.. Look at em'! They just wander around. Walk endlessly... They can't come in.." Raven said as the gears in her head started turning.

"That's not the point and you know it" Elyza said with a annoyed look.

"Walkers"

"What?" Elyza asked with furrowed brows.

"We can call them walkers!!" Raven beamed.

"Are you literally doing the naming day right now!?"

"What? No! I'm not killing them.. They are already dead. This is more like.. Nicknaming day"

Elyza rolled her eyes and said with a amused face, "But 'Walkers'?"

"I mean Ninjas, coz' y'know, those sneaky little shits, and Brain eaters came pretty close but Ninja's already taken and Brain eaters is too lame so... Voila! Walkers!"

"Right.. Sure. Can we clear them now?"

"Okay okay. Fine. Uggh" Raven replied as she got up from the couch.

They grabbed their weapons, Raven with her knife and her bat and Elyza with her kitchen knife.

They stepped outside and quickly ran near the open area in front of the porch before the walkers could catch them.
