It was early morning. Around 9 or something. Birds were chirping and it was cool. Elyza was up fairly long ago. Laying in bed. Her nightmares not letting her get enough sleep. Raven was in deep sleep. The girl can sleep through anything, Elyza thought and smiled.

Alicia seemed to be asleep too as when Elyza went to the living room, she wasn't there.

Lincoln was up too. Getting up with the sun habit still stuck with him. He was sitting on the couch meditating when he heard someone come up behind him. He didn't act like he already knew and kept on meditating thinking if the person wanted to talk, they'll disturb him.

"I know you know I'm here" Elyza said from behind him.

Lincoln opened his eyes and looked back and gave a small smile, "Good Morning Cl-Elyza" he said still not familiar with the new name.

"Morning. What you doing?" Elyza asked.

"Meditating. Helps calm the mind. You should try it" Lincoln said with good nature.

"What do you mean..." Elyza asked confused.

"I was trained as a warrior Elyza, I can see you haven't slept" Lincoln said with a raised eyebrow.

"Well I can't meditate. It's... Not my thing" Elyza said trying to get out of the situation.

"Well there are other ways.. You can spar.."

"Spar..??" Elyza asked with a raised brow clearly questioning him.

"I think you are forgetting who slammed you to the ground..." Lincoln said with a raised brow and smirk.

"You took me by surprise!" Elyza exclaimed.

"Well even if I hadn't taken you by surprise after you held a knife to my throat, I still don't think you would beat me..." he said trying to hold back his smirk.

"Well you haven't met me in a few years. I'm much better now" Elyza said with a serious look.

"Alright then let's see" he said as he moved to move the couch to create a little space for sparring.

After a few minutes he moved the couch and some things around to create a small space, close to a circle but not it.

He stood in the middle looking smug and waited for Elyza to join.

Elyza joined his smug looking face and took a stance immediately.

Lincoln took a stance too and waited.

They just stood there, circled each other for a while until Elyza finally got agitated and threw a punch. Lincoln blocked it easily. Elyza threw a punch again and and he blocked it easily again.

"Fronzeda op. Nou teik em yo reij shoun op yu jomp op" he said slipping into his native tongue after seeing her sloppy moves.

This time he attacked with a punch and Elyza blocked it too. Not easily because he was speedy but she managed.

Now Lincoln no longer looked smug. He was entirely focused. As Elyza faked to come in to attack his left side, he went to block but Elyza took back her move and kicked him in his right side. He stumbled back but Elyza didn't wait, she threw in a punch and split his lip.

"Os" he said with a nod after touching his lip and finding blood.

She nodded quickly and went to punch again but he already anticipated the attack. By side stepping, catching her fist and her forearm with both his hands, tugging it hard to the left, catching her off balance and sweeping her off her feet, he slammed her to the ground again.
