Their Story

After everybody ate their breakfast, they all gathered around the dock looking at the waters. The couple finally enjoying a moment of real peace. Nick came after some time and saw Elyza and Alicia holding hands. He went towards them without announcing himself but he didn't really need to cause when he got about an arm or two length away, Elyza called, "Nick. I would suggest you to sit down for this"

Nick couldn't keep the shock off of his face but sat down nonetheless in front of the 4.

"So what is it that you wanted to tell me that would make me understand all... This" he said gesturing to the couple and everything else.

"You might not believe us..." Raven piped up.

"I wouldn't have believed a Zombie Apocalypse yet we are in it right now. So I would say, try me" Nick replied.

"How much do you know about the theory of multiverse?" Raven dove right in.

"Multiverse means multiple earths at the same place but vibrating differently so they are invisible to people. There are also different version of ourselves in every universe.." Nick stopped when he saw that everyone was shocked.

"What?? I did study!" Nick said to the shocked group.

"Right.. Okay. How about reincarnation? How much do you know about that?" Raven asked composing herself.

"When a spirit or a soul is reincarnated in a different body..? But in myths and folklores reincarnation usually was the spirit of someone getting reincarnated into the body of their own blood way into the future that looked like them....." Nick stopped when he kind of figured out what was going on..

"Right. So. I'm pretty sure you kind of already know what's going on. But I'll fill you in the basics starting from me, I'm Raven Reyes resident of a different Earth which is set 100 years or more in the future, and I got reincarnated here, the past", she pointed to Lincoln and continued,

"This is Lincoln, resident of the same earth as me, full name Lincoln kom Trikru which also means Lincoln of the tree people or clan hence, no last name", she then pointed to Elyza,

"This is Elyza Lex, born name Clarke Griffin, and resident of the same earth as me", she stopped and made a wide exaggerated gesture towards Lexa and continued,

"And this, my friend, is, Alicia Clark, born name Lexa kom Trikru, The badass Commander, lover of the Sky Princess and from the same earth as us too" Raven finished. And by every detail Nick's face got more shocked and blank.

"So.. You are saying that you all are from a different earth and came here??" Nick asked his first question of the many.

"No... We came here after we died on that earth.. So the people you are seeing here, are dead there" Raven explained again.

"And.. You two were together on that earth..." Nick asked the couple.

"You could've said that.. If we had more time..." Elyza said with a sad smile.

"What do you mean...? What's your story..??" Nick asked confused.

"From the very beginning??" Elyza asked. Nick nodded, wanting to know everything.

"Well.. We lived in a space station called The Ark which was made from 12 different stations from different countries which had joined together after a nuclear war had killed the earth and left it shimmering in radiation. It was a strict place. You would get floated, killed, for doing petty crimes like stealing a book or some medicine to help someone if you were over 18" Elyza started and waited for that much to sink in.

"You are kidding right? No one can do that! That's like straight up cruel!!" Nick said in disbelief.

"Well that's Ark for you" Raven commented scoffing.
