Logan And Louise

Chapter 5

For a month straight Logan has visited Louise during his lunch hour and had long talks with her about their everyday life during the time they have been separated. Logan talked about work and what being an only child is like. While Louise talks about the restaurant business and her sibling who will be hopefully visiting soon.

"So Louise?" Logan says

"What's up Logan?" Louise says

"So why do you where that hat? I mean I've haven't seen you not wear it since I took it from you when you were nine. I mean if you don't mind me asking." He says

"Well... I've just always had them for as long as I can remember. They are a part of me that I don't want to lose. Being empty on my head feels weird now And I feel like I don't know myself when they aren't on." She says happily.
" Before I had my bunny ears I would wear a pink cap when I was a baby."

Logan Intently listen to her story with wonder and fascination. He never knew why she went through hell and back to get her ears. Hell even getting dangerous biker to cut his own ears off. But knowing how cute she looks taking about it. He can't but he'll feel awful about what he did to her as a kid. Logan looked down at his feet and said:

"Louise... I'm so sorry for taking your ears and bullying you when we were younger. I never knew how much they mean to you. And I will never do something like that again. Or let someone do that to you knowing what I know."

Louise couldn't help but blush and say:

It's okay Logan. I forgive you.

"Louise I want to make up for what I did. Can I take you out somewhere? Or do something for you? I don't want there to be any more bad blood between us." He said sincerely.

Louise furrowed her eyebrow at him.

"You mean.... like a date?"

Logan rubbed the back of his neck and sheepishly said

"Well... it doesn't have to be. It can be just two friends hanging out. Whatever is more comfortable for you."

Before Louise had a chance to answer her mom came busting into the sitting area

"LOUISE DO MY EARS DECEIVE ME?!??WHERE YOU JUST ASKED ON A DATE?!? OH MY GOODNESS!!! BOBBY! OUR LITTLE LOUISE WAS JUST ASKED ON A DATE!! BY LOGAN NO LESS!" Linda screeched

"Linda.. honey.. leave them be. You're embarrassing her."

"BUT BOBBY SHES GONNA GO ON HER FIRST DATE!!" She cried

"Linda she didn't even answer yet. She might not want to." Bob said sounding tired

"Oh yea Louise what are you gonna say?!?" As she desperately wanted to hear her daughters answer.

Louise turning red as a tomato and said...

"Yea sure.. as friends." Smiling afterwards.

Logan said "Great! How's tomorrow sound?"

"Sure it's a Saturday, I have off" she replied

"Okay I'll see you tomorrow Louise" as he pays and leaves.

"YYYEEESSS MYYY DAUGHTER IS GOING ON HER FIRSTT DAAAATTTEEEE" Linda says singing

Louise hid in her ears and said she's gonna go to bed. After that embarrassing ordeal she needs some rest. After all, she's going on her first date.
