I've been super busy lately studying for exams. We all have. School's been officially done for a week now, but that just means we aren't getting any work. Now we're all studying, which means I haven't seen Alyssa or Axel in almost a week.

Brian has stopped by a few times to watch the kids while I've studied. He's been pretty helpful.

I'm still not sure what's happening between Axel and I, since we haven't talked much. I'm not sure what he's thinking. I'm not sure what I'm thinking about that whole situation.

As of right now I should probably focus on the kids and school, I don't need the drama of another potential boyfriend in my life. I need to be able to graduate so I can go to nursing school.

It's lunch time at school and I find all of my friends sitting in the cafeteria.

"Hey guys! How's everybody doing?" I ask sitting down next to Alyssa.

They all look over to me with growls on their face. "Couldn't be better," Brian says sarcastically. "Definitely not going to fail my exams or anything."

"Oh come on guys, you'll all do fine! Stop stressing." I say.

Since exams are only a week away we've all been going a little bit crazy about studying. We haven't seen each other much because of them, and every time we see each other everyone is all stressed out.

"I say we go for drinks!" Alyssa says.

"Lyss we aren't old enough to go out." I say.

She pouts and goes back to her books.

Brian sits up in his chair. "I agree with Alyssa though, I think we should do something fun to have a break from all this. We still have a few days until exams, so why not."

"Yes! Thank you Brian." Alyssa says.

"Well what do you guys want to do then?" Axel asks.

We all look around the room thinking. There's random thoughts said aloud, but nothing we can all agree on.

"What if you all come to my house for a sleepover or something. I know that's like almost the same thing that we do already, but we can like all sleep in the living room. We could even build a fort, the kids would love that." I say looking at everyone's facial expressions.

"Meredith! That's such a good idea. It won't kill us from exhaustion and we can have so much fun too. I haven't built a fort in forever." Alyssa says.

Everyone agrees in unison. "Great how about tonight? Is everyone free?" I ask.

"Yeah we're good." Brian says.

Everyone laughs after him, of course he's saying that for everyone.

"Sounds good. So, I'll see you guys at my place, say 6pm?" I ask.

We all agree and go off on our own. It's only 3 o'clock now, and thankfully I don't have to work today, so I'll have plenty of time to get the kids, get the apartment ready and feed them.

5:57pm is when I hear the door open from the bathroom. I already know it's my friends from the chatter they bring into the room. I really shouldn't let them barge into the place like that.

I'm in currently giving my kids a bath as they make their way around the house. "Meredith! Where are you?" Brian yells.

"I'm the bathroom, kids are getting a bath." I yell back.
