Watching as the sun rise, Riley's eyes was beyond heavy, swollen and red. While Kash was put to sleep by his pain medication she was still suffering on closing her eyes at the fear of what she was going to see or what she just might dream up.

Her whole body was suffering with it being in a fragile state and it felt like she wanted to be anywhere but here and if she wasn't struggling to sleep then maybe she could've dream herself in nothing but peace instead of the misery that she was currently living in.

Hearing a slight knock at the door, her eyes traveled over to be met with her nurse. "How are you feeling this morning Riley?"

"Tired." Riley mumbled and sat up a little on her bed.

"Are you still having abdominal pains?" The nurse watched as Riley shook her head from left to right. "That's good. I'm going to change your IV and we'll have breakfast delivered over since you're awake."

Clearing her throat, she watched the nurse change out her IV. "C-can I see her?"

"The baby?" The nurse looked over at Riley with a soft smile.

"I mean if it's possible. I know it's like giving myself false hope if she was to die or something but I can't help but to wonder how she looks and if she's making any progress or anything of the sort." Riley babbled.

"A little hope carries us a long way. I'll inform the doctor once I'm done here and someone will take you over. Would you like me to help you out of the bed to get cleaned up?"

"No, I think I can manage it myself."

"Just press the button if you need any help and someone will come racing over. Security's still by the door because you seemed to attract some paparazzi's."

"Can't they get kicked out?" Riley groaned.

"We're rallying them up as we speak right now but we're going to move you and Kash up to a private suite where your mother will provide you both with your own security until you both checkout tomorrow morning."

"What about the baby?"

"I can ensure you that your mother already has a security detail on the NICU floor. No one that doesn't have an ID can get pass them."

"Thank you."

"No, thank you. Thanks to your parents donation; the nurses are getting a raise and it took forever for this to finally happen. I'll leave you to get ready."

Nodding her head, Riley watched the nurse leave out and couldn't help but to dwell on what the nurse revealed to her. It was crazy how money controlled the world these days but some part of her couldn't help but to be grateful at the fact that her along with Kash and the baby would be protected from the media.

After procrastinating for a little while longer. Riley finally got up out of her bed and walked over to the bathroom where she took care of her hygiene routine. If it was one thing that she hated the most after childbirth it had to be the fact that she was going to be bleeding longer than a weeks span of having your period.
