Alright, this may sound or look cheesy as hell, but I did it for a poem project for my LA class last year and decided now to post it here, it's a freestyle poem. Feel free to give me feedback about how I did, but please don't hate me for making so many Not A Chapter chapters. Next chapter is the main turning point of the story, as far as I'm planning it right now, it may change depending on how I make it. Anyway, here you go, thanks for reading and for continuing to read! "Izuku Midoriya"
"I'm sorry. You don't have a quirk," Those are the words that haunt me every day, The bitterness of tears still stain my work As I walk down the corridors of decay. Spitting venom at my outside exterior, Melting my shield gone, Making me feel so much inferior To the society that labels me 'wrong.'
"Kacchan," My childhood friend, One who sets his anger upon, And in the end, I simply pretend. Insults burn like scorpion stings, Their poison coursing through my body, Burning away at my poor wings; Their faces are so snotty.
"The deeper the darkness, The more dazzling the light shines," This holds my soul in starkness, As my hopes and dreams decline. But, my inspiration, All Might, Creates a different path for me. Giving me the power to fight To become the next Big Three.
I finally get a chance to prove myself To the world that deems the quirkless As useless as a broken shelf, But I will not let them make me perkless. I will become the next Symbol of Peace, Saving people with a smile on my face, Never letting my smile decrease Because that is the dream that I will always chase.
"Meddling when you don't have to Is one of the true essence of a hero," These are words that will never undo All the greatness that came from someone who was once zero. Deemed worthy of his power, I will keep the fire lit in the cold As I have been given empower To take the villains down who are uncontrolled.
No longer will I be useless "Deku", But instead, I will go Plus Ultra, And "Go Beyond" to undo All the things done to my spectra.
Rising to do my very best, Even if their insults give me toxemia, My fighting spirit lies at unrest Because I am here: Izuku Midoriya!
Justin Briner! We had to pick someone to draw for my drawing and paintings class, so I chose Justin Briner, the voice of Izuku Midoriya! This is the final product and although I'm unhappy with some parts, I'm still proud of it :3

A/N: I'm halfway through the next chapter right now, I do apologize for taking longer now. Now that school's started, I've had less time to focus on writing, but I do try to make time each day, so I hope to get them up faster. Due to this and just for convenience, I most likely will make the chapters a little shorter. The next chapter will most likely be the longest since a big event happens, but after that, I'm going to try and stick to at least 4,000 words per chapter. This is just my plan, it may or may not work, so please bare with me.
